Nice new name tag Gents, sleak and slimline.
Well spotted Will and rather nice it is too.
Where? Where?
Top right hand corner of the screen Gordon. ;)

Aha, yes indeed! It's our new corporate identity! Kind of anyway... It's on the website as well now, and there'll be a few other tweaks coming just to modernise the site a little.

Getting rid of all the forum members would modernise it nicely as well :D

Nasty fizzy lager replacing the Real Ale behind the bar, a 60" plasma screen in the snug and a jukebox playing tunes I don't recognise at a volume that prevents conversation? ;) ;D
Introducing an Aztec range - that would be like whole new concept, 10mm scenewise. Have your people call my people, and let's do lunch soon. Love ya, babe.
What was the logo before??? :-/
I have looked at it every day for about a year and just can't remember
Wait.
What changed now?

I haven't changed it in my profile yet.
So...what's the difference? :-\
I'm just not that bright :-/ :-/ :-/
Grips F5 your screen (that's what I had to do)
Was the recent price increase just to pay marketing consultants for a skinny logo?

Getting rid of Steve will drop the average age a few years.
Is that you meant by modernising? :D :D :D

I love coming on this forum, being in the sub 40 category it makes me realise how young I still am. If Peter and I left then the average age would shoot up by 15 years :D

Sleak and Slimline - Thats the most Un-Wargamer like thing I can think of. Last Hussar gets lots of micky taking because he is not a "proper wargamer " Shape. Now Pendrakens Logo is not "proper Wargamer" shape .

No - due to harsh climate, poor diet, and terrible working conditions inhabitants of the principality are ancient at 15.

I must be the equivalent of Methusela then. ;D ;D
Cheers - Phil. (Ray..... thanks for the nice thought. ;))
If sixty is the new forty I must be nearly middle-aged. ;)
To those of us who are no longer on the right side of 40
"Old age and treachery will overcome youth and skill"
What about those of us who ARE forty?
Meanwhile, back at the ranch....
Having now seen the new logo I'm not sure I don't prefer the old one. :-\

Ray says in quivering voice "Things were better in the old days, I liked my gas lights, tin bath in front of the coal fire, the logos were better then too!" ;D
The only thing that was definitely better in the old days were that tights had not been invented so all the Totty had to wear stockings and suspenders :-bd :-bd
Sorry Ray i could not resist it - Mark
Firm I used to work for paid a 6 figure sum to some image consultant to dream up a new corporate logo. It was a 3D capital "O" casting a shadow.
Within half an hour of the suits proudly revealing it to the staff, with all the accompanying waffle about "Circle of perfection representing how good the firm was", some wag had turned it on it's side and sketched it up as a toilet, the shadow being the bog seat lid. Firm henceforth known as "The land of the bog seat".
The suits were suitably less than impressed when it got back to them. Dunno what they were bitching about, it raised morale no end ;)
We used to get proper weather, when I were a lad.
Not this rubbish we get nowadays.
I think vinyl records sounded lots better than CDs/iPods etc, as well...:P
Cheers - Phil.
Do you think our grandchildren will have to be taught about these things we used to have called "seasons"?
"Some months used to be hot and dry, some were cold and very often you could get snow that lasted for a few days without the country coming to a halt."
"Don't be silly grandpa."
"Yers. It's true, and when I were a boy ..."
"You're not going to mention banana oil are you?"
"No, but political parties could be told apart by their polices and not just by their ties."
"What's a tie?"
Dear Leon,
I think in this so called "rebadging", you've missed an opportunity or two. Now, I may not have many years of experience of running a highly successful and beloved miniatures company, but that doesn't stop me having an opinion, nor indeed feeling permitted if not obligated to share my excellent opinions with you.

Personally, I like top right, but free free to use any or all of these ideas. I'll get my people to talk to your people.
Middle right for me!

Actually, Mark, I thought it looked a bit dated....
Is the Night Time Collection for items from the Totty Thread?
