On last night but didn't see it, so will catch up later. Thought it might be of interest to all of you that have bought Mongols recently.

I had recorded it to watch. Not too bad at all. Just one thing, Subedai was the son of a blacksmith, not a animal herder. But apart from that it's all there.

Not wishing to rub it in  :d but there were some really good action sequences of Mongols advancing and firing in formation and the layout of a mingghan.

If you were to feed the hamster more often he might speed up a bit on his power wheel.  :)

Pendraken's new Mongols were the first thing that sprang to mind when I was watching it! I thought it was pretty good.

Phil, here's a link to the doc over on another site, it might be slightly lower res, so might be of help with your slow PC!
http://www.tubeplus.me/player/205565/Genghis_Khan/ (http://www.tubeplus.me/player/205565/Genghis_Khan/) BBCiplayer munches on my bandwith a lot, but stuff here is better for sower connections (put your pop up blockers on though) I haven't checked what quality it is, but it doesn't look as if it's going to be reshown in the BBC4 schedule anytime soon, so I hope it helps!
