Title: Would any of these be ok mixed in with Sudan figures...
Post by: Nick the Lemming on 30 January 2014, 07:08:26 PM
For all of these, if you have pics or could tell me how many poses per pack, that would be great, as well as they'd fit in with stuff for the Sudan (Anglo-Egyptian or Mahdist).

WW1 British/ German East Africa, Middle East:

BEA2 KAR troops - are they in fez?

BEA4 East/South Africa Mounted Rifles - what headwear?

BEA5 Gold Coast troops - are these in the lampshade hats?

GEA1 Early Askari - are they in fez?

NEA4 Porters - would these work for Sudan Mahdist War?

ME1 Imperial Infantry - what headwear?

ME6 Imperial Cavalry - what headwear?

ME7 Turkish Cavalry - what headwear?

ME8 Imperial Camelry - what headwear?

ME24 Turkish Arab legion infantry - what do they look like? headwear?

ME25 Irregular Arab Cavalry - would they fit in with any Mahdist cavalry?

Russo-Turkish war:

RT7 Turkish bashi-bazook  - would they be ok for Sudan campaign bashi-bazooks?

RT8 Turkish line, zouave style - ditto

RT10 Turkish cavalry - what headwear?

Dark Ages:

AB4 Sudanese Javelinman - would a few of these be ok sprinkled in with Mahdist Infantry?

AB8 Medium Cavalry - would a few of these look ok sprinkled in with Mahdist Cavalry?

Renaissance:

16th C Ottoman Turks - would any of this range mix in with Mahdists?

Colonial NW Frontier

NW4,5,6,7 - would any of these work mixed in with Mahdists?

Cheers!

Also note that Rugga Rugga tribesmen are indispensable as Hadendowah riflemen.

They aren't perfect, but the Sudan was a big place; hairstyles could vary.
