Hello all, today I have some photos of my freshly painted ACW limbers to share.

Love them. Beautiful work.   This is the mark of the true enthusiast, not just limbers, but loads of them,and four horses a piece. I salute you, a fellow madman!

I dip them into Future acrylic floor finish.

Thanks, ill be painting lots more limbers soon. Not looking forward to painting all those horses. :'(

Oddly enough I'd be the other way round - you can paint the horses in all sorts of different shades and hues and vary them greatly. It would be all those boring limbers that would cause me problems.

Yea, I tried that and I still feel the same way about painting horses.

For me the worst thing about painting horses is the saddlery and tack.
