Title: SCW 50mm mortars
Post by: Nosher on 05 January 2014, 02:03:56 PM
Now the CoC espana lists are out many of the protagonists had 50mm mortars and grenade launchers. Any plans for these in the SCW range or am I missing them in my glances through the ranges?

Nosher,  Yes, the 50mm Valero M33(?) was, I think, the standard light mortar for cavalry and infantry in the pre-war army.  The Republicans used other light mortars in various calibres but you don't see many in pics of the time so I'd guess that they were a bit of a rarity.  The M33 looked a little like the Italian 45mm Brixia M35.    One of these is with the Italian CTV masters I sent Leon last year AND WHICH HE'S YET TO CAST.  So, hrrmph, if you'd like to give him a hard time............. :D
