Is there an SdKfz 252 Ammunition Carrier in the WW2 range? Could have sworn I'd seen he, but now can't find it for looking :-\
No big deal if not, I'll just convert some.
Cheers,
Kev
GR71 252/16 Flammpanzerwagen with the GR67 Utility Trailer might do it.
This is the only photo I can find of the 252/16

Pretty certain GR71 is a mislabelled 251/17 which is the standard half-track Flammpanzerwagen.
If I'm right then the catalogue needs editing Leon!
If the 252 is going to be used with an StuG unit then a 250/6 (not noticeably different from the standard version in 10mm I'd have thought) or a turretless PzI would be possible alternatives.
If it has to be a 252 then scratch building looks to be it.

Yep, I was just going by the description. I don't think a 252/16 existed or that the picture I found is correctly labelled. I can't find any other reference to it.
I think you mean it should be 251/16 though. The 251/17 was an AA version I believe.
You're right 251/16 is the Flammenwerfer.
Dragging the info from a spreadsheet seems to have incremented the number by one.
I suspect the 251 to 252 may be the result of something similar!
Only two versions of the 252 iirc - one for the short barrelled StuG and one with a dozen, or so, fewer rounds for the later long barrelled ones.
Thanks guys, sounds like I'll be going for the conversion then :D
Simple enough really, I'll just get GR82, slice the back to form the slope, stuff with milliput and add the required hatches. Add a utility trailer and jobs a goodun 8)
Cheers,
Kev
