Title: Malburian Range questions
Post by: old smokie on 20 November 2013, 08:00:16 PM
A couple of Malburian Range questions

1) Do the cavalry packs contain command figures

2) what figures are in pack MAL 13 Mounted command

TIA

Not the dragoons or tricorn types, only the MAL20 Cuirassiers have command.

2) what figures are in pack MAL 13 Mounted command

That one contains an officer, standard bearer and musician, 5 of each pose, to make 15 figures.

Now comes the frantic trying to remember O level maths - "I have x troopers, y command, per unit, and 15 figure packs... what the number of units that divides exactly by all of that..."

Between 1 and 3 packs more than you thought, meaning you order 3 more, leaving you 1 pack short, which when ordered means you have 9 more figures than needed but if you ordered another 2 packs would make a brigade, except for the left over 2 figures. . . . . .

If Malborough leaves The Hague  at 7am travelling at 3 miles an hour and  Claude de Villars leaves Paris at the same time travelling at 4 miles per hour at how long will it take them to reach Malplaquet

there of course is the easier way just figure out your unit sizes and tell leon directly who will cast what you want how you want away from normal pack configs (as long as the total number of figures matches of course) he has done several hundred for me like that, great customer service as always  :)

Oh and a note Smokie I like the foot but the cav are a bit staid either wait for Clib's new LOA tricorn dudes or use some SYW troopers as I have, just dont paint the turnbacks your not going to notice at gaming range and they are nicer figures, but not as nice as Clibs!
