Hey gents!
Been having some troubles with painting lately, some bad case of migraine bugging my attepts to get anything done.
However i am on meds since 2 days now, and relatively pain free so brought out the paints!
Only thing i managed to do in the last months was some scenery wich i never gotten around to take pictures of so here they are!

Good that you can think about painting again, Peter. My wife suffers from migraines too. Not funny - not funny at all.

Good job !
take care of yourself.

It is a great feeling getting back into it! :D
So the joy was short lived :(
4 days into the meds i got respiratory problems, seems that the pills and astma do not combine pretty well.
Got a new set of pills yesterday, taken the first one this morning....
Blooming heck, got a strange anxiety over me, can't stay put for 2 minutes and shaking pretty badly. Guess i'll be going to the doctor 3rd time this week.
don't like how this feels..
Yoiks, hope it clears.
:(
I get quite a few migraines as well Peter...Really hate them ...had every test under the sun...still dont know what causes them...Hope you feel better soon
To be honest, the way i'm feeling after this pill, i prefer the migraines. And that's saying something...
Never thought I would ever hear someone say that Peter...must be REALLY bad

Never thought i would say it either.
It's dropping off a bit though, i'll give it an hour or 2.
Problem is, first i had to take inedral, totally bad choice if it's combined with astma. Now i got biprolol, wich again reads, extreme caution if combined with astma ???
Of course, it could be even worse when i don't have the pill. When i stopped with the former on tuesday, by evening i had blood pressure of 15/10 wich wasn't that nice too.
And i haven't even reached my 30ies :-\
The last tests I had done thought it might be to do with a slight lack of brain fluid???? ( or maybe just brains)...God knows...I find womens period back pain tablets the best thing to get rid of the migraine...read into that what you will
Not unusual i guess. Mind you the first pills i got where precaution meds against migraine, but double as bloodpressure/ heartbeat lowerer.
Guess those would be ideal meds if you suffer from both. IF you don't have the heart issues and you stop taking them, everything soars straigth up obviously.
Anyhow screw this, i'm gonna convert the anxiety into something usefull and set up a solo game. m/
Good to see you back painting Peter, some lovely stuff there! :-bd
I'm a big fan of the wild west at the moment so it's a nice bit of inspiration seeing your work.
Sorry to hear you're not well, I hope you get the right meds sorted, keep badgering the docs, they get it right eventually :) good luck!
Ry
Thanks!
I'm going back at the doctor's this evening, i'll see what he says.

Blimey !!
Hope you get something sorted out really quickly Peter....That sounds really, really grim.
Very strange how different meds can interact so badly with each other.....But not in every case !
Trust it's going to be a case of getting the levels 'right' and you feel 'tip-top' as soon as poss.
Take care - Phil.
Yup guess it'll be something to do with dosage or whatever.
Only had a small fit yesterday evening, for now everything is ok, just a wee bit dizzy #:-S
The units are now finished and up in my normandy painting tread!

Good stuff...you feeling any better?
I'm okay. Got myself some vitamins too, as the results from the blood test came in today, showed vitamin D insufficiency. =) =)
Apart from some dizziness i can't complain.
That's a result, at least it's something you can do something about.
I presume you dont have rickets yet?
Vitamin d is one of the few Vitamins you can overdose on
Ricket free here ;)
Hope you're feeling better Peter! Nicely done on the buildings :)
Well, the migraines have not made an appearance lately, so that's good.
Now it's just the stomach that's keeping me down, am scheduled for a gastroscopy on wednesday. We'll see what happens after that.
Very, very best of luck with the results Peter.....Hope everything's OK !
Cheers - Phil.
Best wishes. I hope it all goes well.
Thanks!
I actually DO WANT them to find something, at least that way they can treat it. I've had enough of trying something and finding out that it's not that after all.
They suspect it's a stomach ulcer, so that's treatable.
Hope you get sorted its awful feeling unwell
take care
andy
Hope it's sortable. Get well soon.
All the best for Wednesday, Peter. For a lad your age it's pretty depressing to be continually ill. Hope they sort it soon.
Ray
You can say that. I was never really ill before, so this ones double nasty :(
Just got back, and the problem was found. I have what is called Hiatus hernia. That's the only translation to english i can find :-\
Well to be honest, i'm happy with that. Of all the things that can be wrong with ones stomach/oesophagus that's probably the least worrying thing to have!
Now with the correct medication that should be a solved problem!
Phew! That's a relief.
Great to hear, now get back to painting ;D
Busy as we speak, but there will be no pictures when finished!
I think i'll save what i've done and reveak the at the right tile for the painting comp :-bd
That's really good news Peter. :-bd
Cheers - Phil.
