We're planning on revamping our show stand over the coming winter, so to save some time repackaging everything, we've decided to offer a fantastic 'Buy 3, Get 1 Free!' deal instead, on absolutely anything at all on our show stand!
This offer will only be available at the Warfare and Smoggycon shows, and applies to all of our army packs, vehicle packs and flagsheets. You can mix and match across all of the ranges as well.
With Christmas not too far away, this is the perfect opportunity to stock up on some Pendraken goodies in time for the festive period!
We hope to see you there!
(Please note, cheapest pack will be free)
B*gger! It looks like I can make the show now so all that temptation will be hard to resist. Probably by the Sunday all the stock will be gone :D.
SOB
Could you hear that, it was an Antipodean, very, very far away, ruing the fact that he can't make the shows.......
I never realised that you were in Oz

Yes, I can't see how you could have missed some of my whines and comments on exchange rates (which have fallen further - curses!!, always at Christmas cutoff times too >:( >:(, it's like buying petrol for the weekend).
There are other compensations though :D :D
Attached is a pic of the view from my painting table this morning, 75 F at 8.40am now, mind you we have had two days of storms.
Cheers

:-bd With respect: You lucky lucky (bleep)!
GOM, I`ll have warm thoughts about you, as I scrape the windshield free from ice and with the engine ideling to get the car slightly less like a freezer, tomorrow morning... :P

Born in Melbourne, wandered around a bit and having experienced European winters (http://www.myemoticons.com/images/weather/cold/windy.gif) and tropical Asia (http://www.myemoticons.com/images/weather/sunny/sweating-2.gif), have decided to settle here. Best of both worlds, bit of heat and humidity in Summer and cold but clear winters, overall a nice climate. A few small floods but that's the price you pay:-

My thoughts exactly! I'm supposed to be economising, but we'll see when I get to the stand...
We're going to be there Sunday so hopefully see you at some point.
Cheers,
Meirion
If I make it I'll keep an eye out for you Meirion. Will your daughter be in tow this time?
Leon, would be able to order/reserve the packs in advance for collection at the show?
Like the hills in the backround but!!!!! NO SEA

Should be OK I'd think, let me know what you need, and I'll put it to one side on Sat morning.

Thanks Leon, I'll have a think and let you know :).
I'm with Grumpy Old Man! I, for one, am sick (and tired) of Leon's zenophobic ways! You've got plenty of foreigners here that would love the opportunity to toss money into the Pendraken well, but you are being clearly discriminatory! :P
Buying three Army Packs and getting one free is quite a deal. I need an agent on the ground in Great Britain!!!
V/R,
Jack

You guys get the VAT knocked off though, so you're saving that 20% tax on every order... ;) :D

Just far enough to keep the sandflies away. Doesn't seem to work with tourists though ..... :(

"You guys get the VAT knocked off though, so you're saving that 20% tax on every order..."
You can't claim that! That, Sir, is the result of the special relationship between our two governments.
Okay, probably not, but it's a great deal and I'm grasping at straws; if you cut me this deal I will personally see to it that you don'thave to pay US Income Taxes! Come on, my fellow non-Brits (and Brits that can't make it to the shows). We demand equal rights, no taxation without representation, no more tyranny, etc..., or we'll have a virtual riot up in here! :D
Okay, a different tact then: show some compassion for your (wargame-) poor cousins across the sea. I'm not too proud to beg. If I don't get this great deal I'll hurt myself. Or club a baby seal. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!!! I'll change scales! Okay, I didn't mean that last one.
If I recall correctly, these tactics have worked on Leon in the past. For those in doubt, I recommend you take a look at the "New Release" board, which currently boast several variants of Centurion. Sure, it took awhile, but the proof is in the puddin.'
I may never win a battle of wits, but I've got the stamina for a clash of wills... ;) Back to fantasizing about which four army packs I would have had in my possession should I have been fortunate enough to inhabit the British Isles...
V/R,
Jack
Ouch... No replies to my second post, and this to my first one:
"...whinge about a perceived disadvantage!"
I apologize for my feeble attempts at witty banter on the forum. It would appear at least one person thought I was serious (I'm whining???); that's a bit troubling. Does that mean there are folks out there that really talk like that? I thought the standard complaint was that Americans don't have a sense of humor... In any case, have a good time at the show fellas.
V/R,
Jack
:D
I'm too busy packing vans full of lovely army packs to worry about you New World folks... :P
If it's any consolation, whenever anyone qualifies for the special offer this weekend, I'll remind them that if they lived overseas, they could never have taken advantage of such a deal... :d :D

It would cost you a fortune persuading someone to live near Middlesborough
Leon, you Bastard! (That's right, a capital 'B'). ;)
Vans full of army packs, eh. Fine! I'm trying to decide on the best course of action, and it's not entirely clear to me; if I hold off on ordering a bunch of shiny new lead in protest of your clearly bigoted actions, am I punishing you or me???
Regarding Army packs, do you have any plans for the following (WWII)?
-Russian Winter (as a counter to German winter)
-French (early-war, BKC-style combined arms)
-German DAK (both BKC style and the armor-only style like you have for the Brit and Italians in Western Desert)
-German Ardennes ('regular' or FJ)
Also, are there any plans for the following individual packs:
-WII USMC (I ask because currently there are quite a few M-1 carbine poses, but only one Garand pose, not counting the guy wading ashore. For me the Garand is close enough to the Springfield '03, and with another one or two Garand poses you could team them up with the current Garand, the BAR, and the SMG gunner, which can be a Thompson or even a Reising, and you could do Guadalcanal.
-Any plans to do US Vietnam range with M-14s?
Sorry Leon, didn't realize I had so many questions, and didn't mean to take up too much of your time, but as you happened to be looking here I figured I'd ask. If there are no plans for any of this, I'll gladly add them on the 'Requests' board, but I was just curious.
Fenton - Why's that? I don't know anything about Middlesborough. Is it too 'country,' too 'city,' filled with rules lawyers?
V/R,
Jack

No immediate plans for the individual packs, but we do have a few more army packs which we take to shows but have never made it to the shows, DAK being one of them. Once we get past the shows and the Xmas orders, I'll add some more of them to the website.
For the other stuff, the Requests board is the best bet.

Leon - Thank you Sir, I appreciate you taking the time to answer.
Fenton - What's the big deal? Sounds like my kinda place 8) I'm trying to figure out if that pony is the local mob boss, or simply a victim of the poor educational system.

THAT'S Australia???? I thought it was all red-tinged sand, deadly microfauna, kangaroos, and sheep running from drunken convicts in the hope of preserving their chastity.

Ah good.. the маскировка (camouflage) is still working, with any luck nobody will really know what it's like here....
Oh, did I just say that out loud,.......
[Sound of many boots thumping]
[New voice] Excuse me everybody. Please disregard anything you've heard. We're just taking this mad old coot out for severe chastisement about his twisted rambling. Please continue playing with the deadly microfauna and macrofauna........

Greetings
I manfully resisted the Warfare offer when I realised what my credit card was doing to me after picking up the pre-order :-)
Saw the Centurion in the metal as well as the Lancia 3R0 90mm SP on display. I had ordered 3 of the normal 3R0 trucks without really realising how large they are!
Regards
Edward
