Title: Andalusian Heavy Cavalrymen, 11th-12th Centuries
Post by: Druzhina on 09 November 2013, 10:00:56 AM
Ian Heath based his Andalusian Heavy Cavalrymen, 11th-12th Centuries (http://warfare.atspace.eu/Medieval2/Feudal-79-80-Andalusian_Heavy_Cavalry.htm) on:
Goliath in Commentary on the Apocalypse by Beatus of Liébana, Silos ms. 1090-1109AD (http://warfare2.netai.net/Medieval/Beatus-Silos-f194r.htm) and
a capital at Estella in Navarre with Farragut & Roland, last third of the 12th century (http://warfare2.netai.net/Medieval/Farragut-front.htm)
I have also seen the Silos Beatus picture used as a source for a christian knight.
