That looks really interesting, BBC2 this winter apparently; anyone know a more precise date?

I've seen it.
A bit to much drama for me.
They make up situations in order to make things happening (the different characters must meet !!), and let's say that isn't likely at all.
Let's say, it is watchable.

Original title for the ones looking for it before any UK air :
Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter.

Oh my god..this one was really a hot topic here in Germany. I didn't watch it when it was aired for the first time as a matter of principle (not so much because of the topic, but because German productions usually are horrible  ???), but it really isn't that bad..guess you Brits would enjoy watching it, just take some scenes with a grain of salt..
One thing that is certainly better depicted than in other films or series on the topic is infantry combat..It's always kind of tiring to see dozens of Germans being gunned like stupid lemmings by one heroic Cowboy from Texas, so "Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter" is a refreshing contrast here (they nevertheless die like flies..don't worry)
