That's a shame F.  :(
But that's made me realize that I haven't watched anything 'new' in the way of flims (sic) for absolutely AGES !
Most recent was 'The Hobbit' on DVD....And I fell asleep during that. :'( :'(
Perhaps a thread for film/DVD recommendations is in order.....Or have we already got one of those ?
Cheers - Phil.

Maybe it was growing up watching Hammer Horror and Roger Corman and John Carpenter  films..Much prefer that sort of thing

Films seen in the last fortnight - "Enough Said" and "Thanks for Sharing" ... probably too "chick flick" for this crowd :-)

Looking forward to "Thor: The Dark World" and "Ender's Game" over the next couple of weeks and must catch up with "Filth" before it's gone from the local multiplex.

Read the book and found it quite a good read, watched the trailer with Mr Jolie, no need to see the flick...

While pedestrian and lacking anything like a zombie, i thought World War Z was a decent bit of brain fluff to pass a couple of hours.

I liked it and I'm not normally into Z flicks.

First zombies I could really "believe" :-bd

funny story from GLasgow. THey stored a lot  of the dead zombies in the town hall car park and one of the porters hisd amongst them and waitied until some of the female staff came into work  and then leapt out on them... poor girls ran screaming from the building.

To be honest it was the first believable zombie film..my argument with all my friends is, what makes them become blood thirsty raging cannibals like in every other 'Z' film? Haha.

For the first time aswell I thought Brad Pitt actually did a good job as an actor. Normally I hate him haha

Reminds me of Percy in Blackadder..."Oh, Edmund... can it be true? That I hold here, in my mortal hand, a nugget of purest Green?"
