I found this disgusting news in The Guardian :o
http://www.theguardian.com/science/2013/oct/15/wiltshire-dig-frogs-legs-eaten-british-before-french
Rather funny for french people ;)
What's wrong with the rest of the frog?
There is almost nothing to eat on the rest of the frog. That is what's wrong.
I've always assumed that there was just one particular species of frog that was edible ? (Not that I've done any research on this.)
Wasn't aware you could eat toads.
Maybe they only ever tried the one.

Quote] We can see people eating huge pieces of aurochs, cows which are three times the size of a normal cow, and we've got wild boar, red deer and hazelnuts. [Unquote]
Picture it:
Cavewoman: "Where are you going, dear"
Caveman: "I'm off to hunt the ferocious hazelnut. If I'm not back by Tuesday, marry someone else."

Toads are actually frogs (first heard this on QI)

Yeeeeees....But what we call frogs and toads are from different 'families' which then divide into different species.
(Stroll on...this is going back way too far to A level zoology... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D....Thanks for making me feel even older NTM ! ;D ;D)
Cheers - Phil ;)
