This month sees the long-awaited arrival of the Centurion to the Pendraken catalogue! As well as this, we've got a load of Land Rovers and the T54/55's!
We've compacted the various Mark's of the Centurion down to Mk 3 / 5 / 7 & 9 for ease of ordering. The vehicles was upgunned and armoured at various points, so the Mk 7 can be used as a Mk 8, and Mk 9 for Mk 10. The addition of a .50 cal ranging gun then turned these into Mk's 11, 12 & 13, but this wouldn't be noticeable at this scale. (A quick note, I've used the same Cent picture for all the codes until we get one of each version built for photo'ing).
The T54/55 is the most produced tank in history, with estimated production somewhere close to 100,000 tanks being used by over 50 countries. It has seen service all over the world, from Vietnam to the 6-Day War and Yugoslav conflict, so is a nice addition to our ranges!
As well as those, we've got the LWB Land Rovers for the Falkland's range, and also the Pink Panther and ambulance versions for our new Modern Vehicles section!

Whereas the Centurion is the most whinged about tank in history ;D
I think FSN has passed out from shock ;). But seriously these are very nice additions to the ranges.
Now we'll hear how difficult it is for him to choose the version to
buy! :D
I'm so happy I could cry! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
First order gone in.

10 of each of course :D
I think I have always maintained that I want Centurions for the Korean War. That would make them Mk III's.
However ... we do seem to be getting sufficient kit for an Arab Israeli war 67 or 73 .... :-\
Yep, Korean War now on the cards :).
Well they all look really good
With all the Centurions now released does that mean we can now turn of the internet and go and do something less boring instead?
Yay! Oh, it's raining... :'(
Hi
Those new tanks are bloody lovely.

Yup. Order them!
Actually, I put my order in nearly three hours ago. Where is it? :!!
And what did you order fsn?
Is there a postman somewhere who's due to get some nasty back pains from carrying the lead?

Unfortunately not. Since I've just had a Pendraken Ordering Day, funds are limited, so I've only been able to order 6 at the moment, with a couple of T34/85s or "targets".

I hope you've ordered a full regiment of Chinese infantry to restore the balance? :o
T55 and Centurion look great! Any ideas what else is in the pipeline for moderns before I decide which modern conflict to start up next...was thinking african bush wars but need some african insurgents and pick ups!

There aren't any fixed plans at the moment, but Dave's asked a new designer to do us a BTR152, AMX13 and a JS-3, so we'll see how they turn out.

With all tgis nice Russia kit in the pipeline or actually out in the wild I'd REALLY like to see some Soviet style infantry from the 60's or 70's...I mean they could easily fight the Vietnam Americans.
