Just read through the FAQs, and there is one that is missing.
<adopts whining voice> "When will the Centurion be released?"
Thank you. :P
I am intrigued as to why you all cast yor own specific ranges. Is it because you have an interest in the period so will know what the figures should actually look like?

It's mainly down to the ease of casting them. The historical ranges are all generally one code per mould, or thereabouts, so it's easier to train people on those ranges. With the WWII, there are several tanks per mould, and sometimes things have been remoulded over the years, so the hull and turret may be in separate moulds. As Dave has been casting them from Day 1, it's easier to leave them all in his hands.
It can cause a problem when we get busy on the WWII orders, as there's no one else to help him out fully, but we are trying to get the casting guys doing the easier foot codes. We've also got the guys trained up on Vietnam and SCW, which are easier to cast, and recently we've been working on some of the WWI as well, with the increase in orders for the centenary.
Similarly for the Fantasy, there are some old moulds in there, and things are spread about a bit, so those are my domain. I have considered hiring a 3rd part-timer purely to cast Fantasy & Sci-Fi, as we'd like to give those a push going into 2014.
