Title: First try at weathering my card buildings
Post by: Ferb on 11 October 2013, 08:27:10 PM
Hi all,

The model railway card stock buildings I built for my WW2 city board are ok except for one thing, they look too clean. So I dug around a few model railway sites and picked up a few tips on weathering.
I was a bit nervous trying out the techniques at first as I didn't want to ruin the buildings but then I thought what the heck just give it a go. The results can be found here (http://ferbsfightingforces.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/first-try-at-weathering-my-card.html).

That works really well and tones down the overall shiny new brightness of the card.
