Title: Building the card terrain for my WW2 city board
Post by: Ferb on 07 October 2013, 09:29:56 AM
I'm building a city board with a marshalling yard for Chain of Command and Battlegroup: FotR. My first piece of 1/72 scale model railway card terrain has arrived so it's time to make a start on assembling it. The pack was the Water Tower and Sand House from Metcalfe. I have no idea what the buildings are used for by railway modellers I just bought them because they looked the simplest to assemble, plus you get two buildings for £9.25. The rest of the post can be found here. (http://ferbsfightingforces.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/building-card-terrain-for-my-ww2-city.html)

Hi Ferb

Metcalfe also make their buildings in N gauge so they fit in with Pendraken stuff as well:-

Thanks Ferb, very useful

I'd been looking at these as a cheap way to thow up a city/town for possible zombie skirmish games. They even have a pub that looks a bit like the one from Shaun of the Dead.
