Title: Passport Control
Post by: Nosher on 06 October 2013, 09:45:39 AM
An 90 year old British gentleman arrived in Paris by plane. As he was fumbling in his bag for his passport, a stern French lady asked him if he had been to France before. He admitted he had indeed been previously.

"Then you should know to have your passport out waiting, sir" said the lady, sarcastically.

"I didn't have to show it last time" the gentleman said.

"Impossible! You British have always had to show your passports to get through here."

The gentleman responded "Well, when I came ashore on Normandy beach in 1944, there wasn't a single Frenchman in sight to show it to".
