Today forum member Sandanista is off for an op.
So hope all goes well for you mate. I'm sure while he's under he will be dreaming of horse armies thundering across the plains :D
Cheers.
Adrian.

More likely the totty page :d- but not the pic of the Zombie Nurse ;D
Definitely good luck...... and best wishes to the man.
Cheers - Phil.
Good luck to him
Is it a big operation?....I am presuming by the title it is something to help him hear?
Fingers crossed for the op etc.
Yes, all the very best, mate. Been there myself.
Thoughts and prayers are with you.
Here's to a successful op and a swift recovery
Hope it goes well for him. :-bd
Good Luck
Speediest of recoveries.
Good luck Sandanista.
Had a grommet fitted and a biopsy recently during an ear op and now have full hearing again so alls good as I'm sure it will be with you ;)
Hope it all goes well Sandanista.
All the best to you Sandanista
Cheers chaps
I have had my stapes replaced in my left ear- a small but important part of the hearing mechanism - links below for the curious. I had the right ear done 5 years ago and that worked a treat.
All went well and I am back home but now wide awake after spending most of yesterday dozing. Happily I am in no pain :D
Surgery went well, the consultant twice told me how he thought it one of his best, nice bloke even if a bit smug - but there again he has probably earned that right twice over :) - I still struggle putting wheels on Pendraken artillery :(
All I can say is that I love our NHS, top of my list of things that make me proud to be British :-bd
Glad yours went well Nosher it's good to hear well
I think those who have never lost their hearing can never truly appreciate the gift they have. So wear those ear defenders even if they are sweaty ;)
All this and signed off untill 14th October - extended toytime for Sandinista :D :D :D :D
Cheers again
Ian

You can't knock a bloke for being proud of his work!
Good to hear everything went OK.

Hope it all goes well Sandanista.
fsn obviously believes there is a way to get post war tanks out of this. Only reason I can think for him to comment.
How uncharitable! :P
Members of the forum have been very kind to me, and I have no ulterior motive in wishing a fellow member a speedy recovery.
