Title: Chinese,Chinese,and more Chinese

I would like to do a Chinese base army,so any of the following periods would do for me :P

1) Warring states period, Start around 400 BCE to 200 BCE

2) Colonial period, from 1850 to 1905(late 1890 to 1905 for me)

3) Warlord period,1920? to 1930?

4)Civil war period,1930 to 1949

Is it Chinese you're after...?!

We'll probably look at doing the 1930's Chinese sometime, to go with the Japs.

The advantage for me of the Civil War period is that, with luck, they can also be used for Korea :).

I would vote for Civil war period,1930 to 1949.  I would also like to use these Chinese for the Korean War.

I've got a Chinese project in mind for this year, but its not one of these.

I've voted before for the Chinese contingent but after seeing the video for the Chinese army's spade (watching it for the full 8 minutes! - see fun & chat) I'm motivated to cast again but for me it would be the Boxer rebellion era. Right I'm off now to buy my spade at the local shops  ;D
