Title: What would Don Featherstone do?
Post by: fsn on 13 September 2013, 07:29:35 AM
OK, here's the scenario. I have a broken elbow, my daughter came to stay so I've not had the painting table out for a month and the lead mountain is getting quite big. However, I've had the Golden E-Mail telling me that my most recent Pendraken order has been despatched. This means that my Pendraken order page will show no outstanding orders. Calamity! Added to that in 18 days  will be able to order some Centurions, but I CAN'T PAINT.

What to do?

Hmmm. What would Donald Featherstone do?

ORder ready made stuff, like trees and flags etc.

Trees don't require much work and are always usefull!

There seems little point in adding to Mount Plumbum whilst you're laid up. So how about trying something new that only requires one arm? For example, tiddlywinks, arm wrestling, crown-green bowling or cliff-diving (requires no arms at all). Or as a long-term project you could learn to play the piano with your feet.

Hope this helps. Get well soon.  ;)

Spend the money fron  Pendraken order down the pub assuming you can lift a pint with your left hanad
Spend the money fron  Pendraken order on a hooker as your right arm is non-functioning  :d
Save the money and put in a big order when your better
Send the Pendraken money to your daughter at Uni so she can go out for a treat.
Get your daughters cat shaved.  It won't moult for a while then  ;D ;D

Drown your sorrows in more lead which you cant paint but can ogle. This WILL speed up the healing process - trust me. I'm a gynaecologist... :D

Early in the morning!

Order lead? how will he paint it?
Order lead? how will he paint it?

Early in the morning!

Learn to paint with his mouth and toes, yeah!
Learn to paint with his mouth and toes, yeah!
Learn to paint with his mouth and toes, yeah!
Early in the morning!

With Centurion pleading we've been blessed!
FSN we wish you the best!
Whatever you do give that arm a rest!
Early in the morning!

------------------------------------------------------------

I'm sure you can work out the tune.

teach yourself to paint left handed, then when you are well again you'll be able to paint twice as fast

- Plan a campaign and scenarios for use with your Centurions.
- Read up on lots of military history.
- Catch up on some good WWII stuff on Youtube.
- Keep us entertained on the forum with your eloquent ramblings :D.

Write a book.
Was the elbow damage the result of your successful centurion campaign. a sacrifice to the Dark Plumb Lord for his blessing.
What will he ask you to sacrifice for the T35? :d

Well thank you for those suggestions. I really like the hornpipe, and have been annoying co-workers with it all day.  :d

I think I may content myself with a smallish order for scenery 'n' stuff.

What to do?

  • Order the usual amount. The joy of Pendraken Delivery day makes up for broken bones.
  • Order a small amount of something unusual.
  • Wait until  you can paint again, you silly sod
  • Wait until Centurion Ordering Day
  • Go mad and place a huge order
  • Don't order, sit in a corner weeping quietly
  • Don't order, begin campaigning for Byzantines, or Egyptians, or T35's or something

Hmmm. What would Donald Featherstone do?

All of the above...

That way it will feel like someone else has done it for you...
