Hello,
I have just started painting Pendraken 10mm ACW. I thought 15mm was my limit but have dropped down to 10mm as you can get much more on the table and a few of the guys at the club have armies on the way too. The rules we are using are Johnny Reb II

Just a start but I'm happy the way they are turning out. Hope the pics are of some interest.
Cheers

Very nice Paul - looking forward to seeing more of these 8)
From your blog:
Quote[..] so I decided it was time to see if my eyes could manage the tiny detail.
Can they ever! Excellent. I particularly like the way you did the faces, the black wash helping of course. And your experience with 15mm shows through. Very nice indeed.
Cheers,
Aart
Excellent, you've worked through those quickly!
Very nice: well painted, without a lot of frills. Simple and pleasant to look at.
really nice. love the confederate command base !
Really nice Paul. Concur that the faces are very good. Soon I will be seing whether my eyes are up to this level of detail!
Really nice, I know nothing about the ACW but the minis allways look really nice for it.
And other people have said, the faces look great.

Thanks for the kind comments guys,
I'm surprised how enjoyable 10mm figures are to paint. Hopefully I'll be able to build up a little force pretty quickly.
Best regards
Paul
Im new to the hobby ive dabbled in 28mm Wierd War II, 20mm World War II and now various 10mm. Ive found the 10mm the fastest to paint well. The level of detail on the sculpts to me is amazing. Ive convinsed one of my friends that 10mm is the way to go. And its cheap :):)
So yay for 10mm and yay for Pendrakens Sculpters.
