Thank you for your kind thought. It caught me at a bit of a weak point, and gave me a lift.

Good to hear the package arrived safely, and that your signature has been suitably updated... :D
;D ;D ;D :'( :'( :'( ;D ;D ;D
I am honoured.
You know, that's why I love Pendraken! :D
Good stuff :D
umm what am I saying good stuff to ?
The end of reality as we know it Fenton...
Looks like FSN has received an early Centuri-spam! :D
Now I've witnessed the end of an era. :D Enjoy the moment.
So what you after next FSN?
Glad to hear it arrived safely :-D

Glad to hear it arrived :D
Today I received the first master casting of the Centurion, from an anonymous gentleman.
I am truly deeply touched, and look forward to buying many, many more.

Um. I think I might hang up my campaigning boots for now. Though I may tip my hat towards Byzantines, Egyptians, British Napoleonics, T35's, ships and trains, and I am keen to get my hands on some of the recently trailed French and Italian WWII stuff.
BTW, the Cent is beautiful! It's enough to bring tears to the eyes of a grumpy old temporarily uni-handed cynic.
Gosh !
I can't for the life of me think who might have sent it.
Who is this masked man ?
Good for you Anon.. I think it's gone to a very worthy recipient. :)....Gets my vote for a :-bd
Cheers - Phil
Allright, who's the git who spoiled our fun >:(
CHeers Fsn, well deserved after the freat deal of nagging you had to do :P :P
Does this mean no more odes to the Centurion. Now that will be a loss to this forum :'(
However
Good on you Anon.
A :-bd from me aswell
Well done to the anonymous masked super hero who helped FSN out in his hour of need :D.
NOW will you shut up? Or in 3 months time will you be pestering Dave for something else?
Only 3 months?
Thats a bit optomistic.
Someone will mention Aztecs now... :D ;).
I dont know much about the Centurion, although I feel I should after the last few months so I am not sure if I should ask this question
How many variants of the Centurion was there?

Enough to keep him nagging for the next 5 years :P :P :P ;)
Variants - the British go from Mk I - with two types of turret, to Mk 13, then there specific Dutch and Danish variations. The Israelis use mostly Mk 5, but breath on it considerably, so have another 6 types at least, before we start on the APC versions.
Plenty more for FSN to nag for - Not that he is as intrusive as people demanding Tarltons.
or even AZTECS........
IanS
I am really worried about him nagging for Byzantines ....as I may have to join in
Oh, no ! ;)
Cheers - Phil.

This nagging business is becoming something of a science. I can see various universities offering degrees in Applied Nagging. I suppose you'd be a BNag. :D
Isn't BNag the noise dyslexic dymanite makes! :-\

It's just a swear word. "Aztec off!", "you big Aztec princess!", "don't hold the brush like that, you'll make a right Aztec of it!", "I fell over and Aztec'd my arm."
I seem to have stepped in a centurion, I'll just scrape it off with a stick :P :D

And you know it only obeys the Dark Lord. You also know how every other bearer of the one tank has ended.... 8)
Probably by buying 15 more and then all the infantry, artillery, transports and aircraft required for both sides of whatever conflict and then finally by moving one to a different period totally.
sorry was that a rant.
Fsn needs to rent out his nagging skills to help other forum members highlight their causes.

I have attained Pendraken Nirvana. I now float on a cloud of tranquility above the petty squabbles of what should be next created. For surely now that the One has come, the multitude shall follow, and all shall find sufficient unto their needs. For the One has opened the door to the The Land of the Morning Calm, and portents the 55 which shall show the way to the Day of Atonement.
I am content, and see that my temporary inability to wield a brush is an invitation to contemplate the One and see the true meaning of the One, and divine the deeper meaning of the One.
I shall not raise my voice in clamour, nor shall I tug hems in supplication. I shall stand aside and peacefully await that which is promised.
nice avatar FSN, sorry, did you say something?

Is that the one with 'Dildo Bogbrush' as a hero? I remember a friend going on about it at school many years ago, or maybe he just made up the name :-\.
From memory....(Ahem) ....It was D*ldo B*gger......But don't go and put any money on that !
Cheers - Phil
Correct Phil
...Of the finding of the ring....
...As is told in the volume previous to this hound, Valley of the Trolls, D**do B*gger set out one day with a band of demented dwarves and a discredited Rosicrucian named Goodgulf to separate a dragon from his hoard of short-term municipals and convertible debentures. The quest was successful, and the dragon, a prewar basilisk who smelled like a bus, was taken from behind while he was clipping coupons. And yet, though many pointless and annoying deeds were done, this adventure would concern us a good deal less than it does, if that is possible, except for a bit of petty larceny D**do did along the way to keep his hand in... What on earth did Boromir's name become ? I think I can remember most of the others.
Arrowroot, Legolamb, Moxie, Pepsie, Spam, Gimlet ?? (Or am I thinking of Terry P's character).
Cheers - Phil.
Bromosel (from Bromo-Seltzer indigestion relief)
Frito, Spam, Moxie and Pepsi, the Boggies. Goodgulf the wizard. Legolam the elf and Gimlet (son of Groin) the dwarf. Bromosel himself and finally Stomper (aka Arrowroot son of Arrowshirt).
I'd forgotten Eorache (Eowyn)!

Talking of Aztecs - we still have not had any postings from FK recently. He has been on the forum but he is not talking. Perhaps he has sent us all to Coventry
Maybe he's using us as a psychological experiment?
I've been to Coventry.
I can see why the Germans bombed it...

He's picking up programming from the future if he has - the Light Programme didn't start until 1945, long after German medium bomber raids had ended.
Yeah, you had to be careful of the 'V-programme' what with their time travel devices and everything.
Hi fsn is there any chance of you posting, with your good hand, a photo of this exclusive and rare Centurion.....Please, so we can all gasp and bask in its splendour. :)
I don't know. Do you deserve it?
The amount of grief I've had, I think I may keep it to myself.

I saw the real thing on the Pendraken stand yesterday, it's a big lump of metal compared with the WW2 tanks I'm used to!
Was that before or after Dave dropped it! 8)
A bit of battle damage always improves a tank model. :D
