Before you all boo me, serious point- trying to throw money Dave and Leon's way.
I'm sure a number of us would like some 10mm goodness from relatives. Is there a nice and simple system you can offer for those who can't tell a Roman officer from an over-rated tank?
The problem with internet shops is they want you to register (this was the subject of a rant on Cracked recently- can you imagine if you had to register before you could use a high street shop), plus they would need to navigate the site. Is there an easy way to do a 'gift list'? Especially as Postage is variable-ish
Additionally, how long do you need before Christmas to receive orders - when is the last date they must be WITH you? Do cheques incur time or financial penalties?
REALLY good idea =D>
If any of FSN's relatives are reading: he really likes Romans :-bd
I know that Pendraken vouchers are already available...
Something that other sites do to good effect is the "Wish List" - so we, as the gamers, get to add items online to the wishlist section (as opposed to the shopping cart) - which is saved using our login...this then is viewable (and we can move items from the wish list to the shopping cart) and, more importantly, it's share-able (email a direct link etc).
If pressie-buyers didn't want to register to buy our pressie, there could be a "contact us" option - which would show the phone number / email address...
Possible?
I`ll second the wish list option, its a rather good add-on, if feasable. :)
The Wish List bit would be down to Matt, and what he could build into the website, so not sure on that. We do want to be able to offer vouchers through the site at some point, so I'll be chatting with Matt about those next time I speak with him.
The easiest way is always for folk to email us direct, and we can sort everything out for them that way. We can either bill them for a straight order, the gamer can place the order and we bill the relative, or we can work off an emailed wishlist instead? There's always a solution, especially at Xmas!

You know what I like about this forum? The short time between topic start and topic degeneration.
I may have inadvertently contributed to a few of those descents into chaos. :-[

I have a formula
S= subject
T= time
F= Fenton
C= Centurion
D= degeneration
D= (S+T)F x C
There are other factors :D

Hmmm sounds painful
I was just trying to showcase Pendraken's finest in the best available setting.
To be honest, with that background, i wouldn't care if there were no Centurions at all. Which one of you would not appreciate:
January: Settlers camped around the Navel see injuns on Busty Ridge.
February: Churchill ARC lays a bridge at Buttkrak.
March: a line of jaegers move along the flank.
April: Mountain troops assault the north face of the Jungfrau.
There's probably something about Romans in the Black Forest too, but can't quite put my finger on it.

Hertsblue admits to too much weight gain for a TIE!
It's a seventies tailored, slim-fit tie. Or is my memory playing tricks again. ;)
