Title: Bespoke hill for Star&Garter
Post by: Steve J on 07 September 2013, 08:49:30 AM
I've put up on my Blog images of a bespoke hill that I've just finished for Craig (Tiny Terrain). For anyone attending Colours it will be making its debut there.

Top job Steve, I look forward to collecting it this afternoon.

And yes I have a windmill, and a church nother to mention a few roundhouses which will sit up there quite happily.

Mmmmm... Me think tommorow might be a game of Chain of Command with the Germans holding a hilltop village :D

Might be time to make a small fortified monastery...,

Cheers

Very nice.
I don't do make my own terrain much, but I'm thinking I should. What is the foam you use and how do you shape it?

It's called Rohacell and it was an offcut from work. It was shaped with a couple different surforms and then sanded with 80 grit sandpaper to give a relatively smooth surface. Hope this helps?
