Someone has the rules?
are easly adapted to 10mm pedraken figures?
any idea of the game mechanisim?
Is it fun and not very coomplex rule system?
I was thinking of backing it just for the rules, but decided to give it a miss as it's too tightly tied in to their own reimaging of the story. I'm trying to work on A Fistfull Of Tripods (http://web.archive.org/web/20030220234444/www.tyler.net/tbeard/Tripods.PDF) which are freely downloadable and cover a few different time settings, but they're incomplete as presented, with no point values for the units. Also, in my preferred period, the original turn of the century, only artillery actually stands any hope of doing anything useful, which is a bit of a disappointment as far as a game is concerned...
That is very interesting. Any idea of sieze of the stand?
Lots of detail and good ideas.
thanks wulf
I don't think the stand size (or even how many men are represented) is ever stated. It's based on A Fistfull of TOWs, modern, so I think it's squad based, single vehicles. I intended to base a few 10mm minis on 2p coins...
cheers Wulf for suggesting Fistfull of Tripods.
I can now fight my tripods against my ww1 ,ww2 and modern armies.

Hello Wulf
If you have a look at the Free Wargame Rules site http://www.freewargamesrules.co.uk/sci-fi.html (http://www.freewargamesrules.co.uk/sci-fi.html) there is a set of rules for Martians vs 1900 Europeans called 'Tripods and Hussars' that has a points system in the last pages. Even if you don't use the rules at least you can 'borrow' the points system and modify ,etc.
Cheers

I have Tripods & Hussars too, thanks (from the same source as FFoT in my case - same author I believe), but I prefer FFoT for less bookkeeping. I hadn't considered porting over the points, mind you... :o
