I'll pass. (Is that really true....Stroll on !)

I've seen this too, i wonder how much it would cost to do the same army in 10 mm :-\ :-\
GW is getting crazier each day..
Can't see anything on the GW site that suggests this is real. Though you can buy an entire Marine company for a very modest £540.
So if Dave and Leon are busy working out what the price should be for all of the forces in the Normandy Campaign in 10mm at 1:1 they may need to scale back to the individual army groups :)
I'll do you the entire forces for Gettysburg at 1:1 ratio for the princely sum of £20,000. Any takers?!
:D
Nik might be interested......Only take him a couple of days to paint them. ;)

Does GW refer to their customer base - Gormless Wallies.
Do you not think thats a bit of Fun?
The ammount of speculation we've had about how much that would cost.........
Thats 1000+ infantry and at least 100 vehicles!
It does not look bad by GW's prices.
100 vehicles @, say, average of £3.50 per vehicle = £350
1000 infantry @ 13p a figure = £130
______
£480
Add 10% for wastage 48
______
£528
Add another 20% for ultra large vehicles 106
______
Grand total £634
You can go on adding for painting and basing but it still comes nowhere near £10,000. >:(
the models in the picture are 6mm epic.
There is a reason why i collect big armies in 10mm and that is the price (and how cool they look enmass!)
That it would be much cheaper in a smaller scale i do not doubt at all,
The picture is of course 6mm, but i don't think for a moment thats the picture that will be on the GW website! Or what GW is offering to sell!
Though i do have the same in Imperial fists in 6mm, and a titan legion, and an eldar craftworld and possibly more epic than is sane to look at in one place at one time!
Perhaps lovecraft looked in my garage as inspiration for mindless horror!
Like i say i love 10mm and 6mm for that sense of scale of commanding massed armies.

;D If only I had a spare £20k...
That's a £2k discount BTW ;)
(165,620 combatants / 30 figures per pack @ £4 = £22,083)

You've got to give people an incentive... :D
Is that with free postage? ;)
And a flagsheet? :P
well a bit too much miniatures to paint, but at a 1/20 scale for a thousand pound, I would be interested!

But at least half that would go on extending the house to accommodate the extra figures. :D
If I order one would it be ready for Colours :D

1/20? Isn't that a bit small for your games?! :D
