A knight on the Seal of the Guild of St George of Ferrara, late 13th century (http://warfare.atspace.eu/Medieval2/Seal_of_the_Guild_of_St_George_of_Ferrara-large.htm) wearing a heaume, a coat-of-plates over a hauberk, cuisses with poleyns attached and closed greaves.
