I'm starting to think about the future: second daughter's going to school, the twins start preschool in the autumn and Colours on the horizon! :D
Obviously I don't have enough projects on the back-burner at the moment, so to fill this void I have a couple of ideas for Hordes of the Things armies, one of which is centred around a peasant crusade theme.
Anyway, searching for "peasant" on the Pendraken site brings up a few of suitable codes, with EC8, ELM14 (and possibly ELM33) looking perfect. There's also the monks of ELM37.
I've also seen LA13, but they look very static compared to the others.
So question for the audience, any other codes that might fit the bill.
Cheers,
Meirion
How about some of the Beggar codes? Men, women and children and even some mule-riding cavalry.
You may or may not find a use for the gargoyles and pied piper!

Good call there :-bd
They'd slipped my mind although I have my eye on them for "generic fantasy humans" for one of my other projects ;)
Cheers,
Meirion
The Mongolian 'camp followers' and 'citizens' might end up being useful for something similar to the above Meirion.
I'll send Leon some pics in the next day or so. ;)
Cheers - Phil.

I thank you :)
They'll all be fine, plus the Beggars as mentioned above. I wouldn't bother with the old LA13 code, as they're not really up to the standard of the newer sculpts. You could possibly use the newer version of those figures, which is the scythemen in the LoA range?
Remember your goose general, the first crusade was led, in part, by a 'divinely inspired goose'!

Possibly Phil. A delegation from our Eastern Brothers would always be welcome ;)

Cool 8)
Or possibly a 54mm
GOOSE GOD to invoke :d
Great idea!
Apropos absolutely nothing, except for a tenuous avian connection, my favourite dictionary definition (yes, I have one) is "Kakapo. A large, almost flightless owl-like parrot from New Zealand."
Sea, a big, blue wobbly thing...
Kakapo
Po
Kak
Okay, so I bought the Beggar army pack in the sale and found the two chaps on the left in the photo below lurking in the pack. They're obviously conversions on the ELM37 monks (on the right), but which beggar codes do they belong to?

Are they just part of FBG4 and FBG14? There are other chaps with spears and clubs in the range style (as shown in Ithoriel's post).
Cheers,
Meirion
Those are the two kids from the FBG10 Children code, they're wearing cloaks with improvised weapons.

Cheers Leon, more believers to follow the Goose God's honk! :D
