Title: Zombies, any advice.
Post by: count_zero99uk on 20 June 2010, 03:17:06 PM
Hi there,

Im about to start my next 10 minis these are zombies, to go with the skeletons ive allready done.  Again they are for my 10mm dungeon so they will be singaly singely  >:( on there own.

I was thinking of giving them a Romero zombie type look.  So i started with a light grey undercoat which i was going to dry brush with Vallejo's Azure Blue. but now im looking at some pics and they have very dark creases on them so im thinking a smoke wash with the blue drybrushed over.

Ill then do the clothing to make them look "from the grave".

What do people thing to the idea in principle?  OR Do you have any sugestions of how to do it better?

Thanks.
Brian.

http://tabletoptitans.com/reports/0014.php   <--- worst painted zombies you`ll ever see (sadly, my own). They were okay but I ruined them by varnishng them at night and found next day that I`d used gloss varnish by mistake... uugh look what the varnish did to the yellow hair of the woman zombie lol. Was too late to correct it because I had to have the battle report ready by the next day  :'(
