anyone seen this in the flesh and will it stand up to the 10mm range or be way too big?
I've been wondering about the Khurasan gunship for the same purpose.

Being 15mm I reckon it should look big enough to hold a decent number of marines but not so big it looks ridiculous.
It will be primarily used as an objective - fight your way through the aliens, get to the dropship and get off-planet and "nuke them from orbit"
Not that that helps with your original question - sorry.
Think the cockpits would look way too big.
This is the fella that I use http://web.archive.org/web/20111227022921/http://oldcrowmodels.co.uk/6mm/dropship/armourl.gif
mind you I did buy 3 of the buggers, which in retrospect was a bit overkill.
Ideally it needs to be at least reminiscent of this:
I think ancelotti's workshop are doing one but I think its 15mm

Antenocitis Workshop?

I know their 28mm vehicles, didn't realise they were going to do 15mm.
They have some nice print & fold sci-fi containers for many of the "baddie" corporations which you can download for free too.
I am sure I read in Wargames Miniature they were doing 15mm stuff now
It might be a touch too big, but I'm not sure. Critical Mass have some 15mm dropships as well, and there a couple of things in Hawk Wargames lists maybe?
Ground Zero Games have some 15mm stuff that is on the smaller side of the scale?
