Righty then, the missus and the kids are going away to Brighton for a week to visit her sister-in-law. This means the house will be mine, no kids shouting and making a mess, no one to wake up when I get home at daft o'clock in the morning. So, what should I do to occupy myself?!
:-\
Beer. Definately beer. And do all that stuff you can't when they are there.
all of the above (that's the first day sorted)
Like you need to ask...
Totty + Beer= WINNER
However, one does have to ask; How often do you sit around naked playing the Xbox ;D ;D ;D
Yes, basically all of the above. With a beer, ofcourse. And some Rammstein, as well. m/
Sex ist eine Schlacht, Liebe ist Krieg!
Should explain why wargaming is so popular.
I voted band of brothers, it' a great series!!
Also rammstein rules!
Take time to yourself, try boredom, go for a walk, have a meal somewhere where the food isn't deep fried and/or teddy bear shaped, and visit somewhere new and interesting.
Then beer, band of brothers and start that the diorama, whilst sitting naked playing the Xbox...
do whatever thing you can't usually do !
:P

Me and beer don't get along, so that one might be tricky!

Having a meal somewhere could be on the cards, it sounds better than having to cook for myself every night... :D
I voted "other". You can guess why.

Delaying the centurion again?
:P :P :P
Damn, FSN beat me to a mention of the Centurion :D.
Actually I was thinking "Band of Brothers" is sh*te, married men shouldn't indulge in totty hunts (leave that to we singles), I've only just received an order, grown men shouldn't play cowboys and indians without a six year old present, and finally, I don't want to think of Leon doing anything naked. (Basically, because I don't have a female totty avatar for him.)
I just assume his default setting is "Centurion delay".
Other ! (Far too limited a choice above methinks.) ;) ;D
Cheers - Phil.

I'm not married yet... ;)
Will be next year though! :D
Combine some of the options. I'm sure casting up orders naked would be a great idea...

Good stuff - Adele finally making an honest man of you ;)

Funny but, I have always had this (Disc World like) image in my head of my bearded Dwarves head banging to Rammstein... maybe even at the Mended Drum.
have a BALL of a week Leon.... woooot!!!!!
I'd vote for anything that doesn't include "Do more hours at work casting up your orders?"
Nobody lay on their deathbed and wished they'd spent longer at work.
Wishing they'd played more XBox naked on the other hand ........ :o :o :-[ ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yeah, we figured being engaged for 12 years is about long enough!
:D
All plus other, Band of brothers a defo, a nice bottle of red and a mega tasty curry, or go to watch a band,
Have a good one,
kev
Well all of the above , though if your going to do the xbox thing we dont need to see pictures
Which does cause one to ponder "which xbox games does on feel compelled to strip off for?"
I have a number of games, none of which compel me to disrobe. :-\
Casting with molten metals whilst naked is asking for trouble... X_X
That's one accident I won't be wanting to attend in my ambulance!
Being in the "family gang" myself, we both know that you're going do more work then come home and flake out.
I think for a good chunk of the week you should sit around doing nothing and watch crap on tv. The rest of the the time you can just waste :)

Nothing wrond with looking, as long as you dont look the way a four year old does - by touching :d
Seriously, take some time out for yourself in whatever way you choose- enjoy
A WEEK without children! :o I'd bite your arm off if you'd offer me 48 hours ;)
Radical suggestion: why not play a wargame!? :-\
Middlesbrough seems to be crawling with forum members. Surely one - or more - could squeeze you in for a session or two? :D
Worst case scenario: grab yourself a dungeon pack and play solo. What adults do on their dinning room tables is their own concern, so whilst the lead and resin may be naked in this case, we will only require a batrep and photos if you choose to keep your hat on...! ;)
Have a relaxing time!

Gentlemen,
It has struck me like a train that we have missed the only answer, maybe because the thought of it sends shivers into the soul of every married man....
The DIY list that is presented as our beloveds leave the house.
You know the one, all the little jobs that need doing, that actually cost a fortune and take all day!
Shudder.

But have you noticed....The jobs that you think will take all day.....Often go really smoothly....and only take a half an hour or so ?
Yet the LITTLE,
LITTLE jobs.....The ones you think will only take five minutes, take for fekking EVER, and drive you completely INSANE.
Cheers - Phil.

But none of them actually NEED to be done and you never actually agreed to do them just either neglected to say no at the time when it was brought up or did and was ignored.

The one I always remember is changing a simple light switch......What could go wrong ?
Swap wire for wire......5 minutes.....Tops
HAH !
The oik that had put the original in place had left less than NO slack on the wires in the little box......In fact the wires were stretched and pulled back once unscrewed......No way they'd reach to the fixings in the new unit....Had to run in new wiring from the attic....Think that took me about 4 hours in the end.
I was a cross little bunny. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

'No more nails' is far safer.
No chance of drilling through a cable that isn't anywhere NEAR where you expect it to be....'Cos it's coming down the wall at a 45 degree angle.
Got the tee-shirt.....Thanks for the reminder 'F'....I'd forgotten about that particular 'quick and easy' job.
Bah ! Humbug ! ;D ;D ;D ;D
'Spose it's funny now...Wasn't at the time !
(Somewhere NOW, I've got one of those doo-dads that tells you where cables are.....Wonder where that is ?)
Cheers - Phil.
Takeaways are definitely on the cards, and I might even push myself to a beer! I've got some work-related bits which need doing as well (not casting, stuff I can do at home), like the newsletter, updated Top 10 requests, Smoggy stuff, etc. So I'll get BoB watched while I'm doing those.
First job on Sunday will be getting the Sci-Fi pics up as well!

HURRAH!
Well the family have gone now, so I'm free! Well kinda, Dave rocked up to watch the footy, but after that I'm free!
I'll be getting the Sci-Fi range added to the website this afternoon (although the pics may have to wait until tomorrow night, as I didn't get them all cast up in time unfortunately) and I'm going to stick BoB on while I'm working.

I've got the Totty thread and a can of Coke?! :D
Well Adele and the kids are home this evening, and I managed almost nothing! I only got home before 2am once, and that was when Dave wanted to watch the England game!
I did try and find the Band of Brothers boxset, but it's gone suspiciously AWOL, so I might have to check round Dave's house for it... :-\
Oh my, done nothing at all? That's a good boy.... :-\
My wife and devilchild were away for just an hour today, and i managed two games of world of warplanes, half an hour windowshopping on wargame sites and 3 shots of vodka.... all while i promised to clean the guinea pig's cage.
Imagine what would happen if they were gone A week or so.
I don't think they would ever locate me again :d
Wish I just had a guinea pig's cage to clean out.
Luxury ! ;) :)

My uncle had guinea pigs when he was still living at home, they used to know exactly what time he finished school, and would start chattering away in anticipation until he got home.

Any chance of a goblin riding a giant guinea pig? Or an Amazon (that would be more geographically accurate).

I know, it's getting quite frustrating on that front. Whenever I find 5 minutes to work on it, something comes up, or something gets in the way. At the moment, we're waiting on some more mould rubbers to arrive so we can do a new walker/dreadnought mould.
