I'm a former 28mm wargamer. Since I discovered 10mm and 6mm I prefer to play with them (Pendraken and Baccus realise real small jewels). I keep large scales for skirmish games.
I'm collecting SCW armies (both sides).
Apologize for my school english :-[
Bonjour Hecoma, welcome to the Forum!
(That's about all the French I know... :-[ )

More than I do Leon, but in English welcome to the nuthouse.
Bienvenue! (I think that's right, but it's about 35 years since I did any French at school :D)
Welcome Hecoma.
Hello there!
Hi Hecoma.
Cheers - Phil.
Welcome, Hecoma. Good to have you aboard.
Good Moaning......
That's a English in joke....

Hi Hecoma, What's the wargames scene like in France?
Gentlemen of the Forum,
May I just say how gratified and frankly surprised to see how 15 hours there have been no posts decrying the French martial spirit. No mention of simians with a predilection for dairy products and elevated forelimb extremities. There have been no references to Swedish Eurovision entries, central London squares with commemorative naval erections, nor the hundreds of other places within these isles that commemorate when our two great nations have regrettably been engaged in force of arms to the detriment of the least occidental.
I for one salute the Gallic warriors creed, and some am more than pleased to welcome out new contributor who hopefully be able to educate us in the ways out compatriot tin-shufflers operate across the narrow sea.
Welcome again, Hecoma.
What do you think of Centurion tanks?
Welcome to the forum
What do you think of FSN?

Welcome again Hecona.
Cheers - Phil.
Salut, compatriote !

I have lots of issues: Military Modelling, Miniature Wargames, Wargames Illustrated ... Oh - you mean ISSUES.
oh dear me... ;D ;D ;D.
Bienvenue. This is definitely a Francophile house, what with my son's mastery of French, his job in the wine trade, his left-hand drive 2CV and my numerous French armies - from Gauls to 1871.
Thank you for this warm welcome.
Welcome Hecoma :-h
Don't worry about all the others, they're completely mad 8-} <:-P 8-}
Hi and welcome,

A little outré for the SCW, je pense. :D
This is my fave tank/armoured car of all time...Actually it was a close call between these and the Somua s35

Very good choice Fenton ;)
It's a Panhard 178. His nickname was "pan pan" (bang bang).
Yes the Leclerc is a fine vehicle, if you like that sort of thing. I too have some affection for the Panhard and the S35, but don't you think compared to the Centurion, they are but small beer for the soul, Edinburgh measures for the senses, petit pois pour l'esprit if you will?
Surely, the Centurion stands out to be both beautiful and nobly aggressive, powerful and yet ... somehow comforting. It sits between the confused thinking of the thirties and the computer designed, bland monstrosities of today. It balances speed, firepower and armour in a distinctive design that has something of a cheeky grin to it.
The Pershing fainted at the sight of it, the T55 couldn't touch it, and the M48 wanted to be it. The Centurion. Dark Lord love it!
Yeah but the Panhard and S35 re funny and you get great satisfaction if you mange to kill something with them

I think the centurion is a myth. It can't be that good.
And as I've never seen it as a pendraken mini, I
know it doesn't exist ! :D
;)
By the way, I also really love the Pan Pan and the S35. But my heart belongs to the T-34
Hi Hecoma welcome to the lunatic asylum.
