Post by: WeeWars on 05 August 2013, 09:32:01 PM
Magister Militum say they will be producing about 15 new codes for a 10mm range of Ottoman Turk Mamelukes for the Napoleonic Wars.

Should he be allowed to say that? Isn't that a bit like wearing a red tie at a Tory conference? Waving a blue flag in the Kop? Attending a Star Trek convention dressed as Darth Vader?

I have to say though that an Ottoman army in 10mm sounds interesting. They caught my interest when I read "Navies of the Napoleonic Wars" by Otto von Pivka. He opined that Ottoman ships weren't very good because they were too tall, and they were too tall because the decks had to be large enough to accommodate the officers' fashionable head gear.
