Title: 1/144 Pucara
Post by: weredoomed2003 on 02 July 2013, 08:43:47 PM
Does anyone know where I can get a 1/144 Pucara for my Argentine Falklands forces.  I have Hueys, Daggers (Dragon Kfirs converted) but I can't find any Pucaras (or Aermacchi MB334, or Turbo Mentors for that matter).
How can I be expected to stop Marines or Paras without proper air support !!
Any ideas?
thanks
Rob

There is one on shapeways. Pretty expensive though!

And there is also this one:

Considering how little difference there is in price I'd go for the simplicity of Shapeways. Shame the sculptor only gave the options for the most expensive (and highest detail) materials - I'd have thought a White Detail version would be quite passable. You might want to contact them & ask. Unfortunately it looks like the wheels are fixed down.

Buy 1:600 from tumbling dice, they're not small, they are just a long way up...

Heroics and Ros do a decent Pucara in 1/300 for those flying closer to the ground.
