That the American 'whistle blower' Edward Snowden bears more than a passing resemblance to Daniel Radcliife (He of Harry Potter fame.)
Have these two ever been seen in the same room together....are they, in fact, one and the same ?
Perhaps instead of looking for Mr Snowden in Russia, the authorities would use their time more profitably searching the appropriate theater. :P
Cheers - Phil. (Who's waiting for something to dry at the moment and thought he'd waste a couple of minutes. :) ;))
Or the rapper 'snow' who actually had a song called 'informer'.

On a more serious note, has anyone bothered looking under the bed?
Get with the program!
News today is carefully orchestrated so that it can be made into a Hollywood blockbuster in the near future. Daniel has said he's up for the part and so they've set in chain the whole "Snowden Leak" story line. It's easier to write the script beforehand that to have to work backwards from the truth.
I believe iwhen the Snowden leak film comes out, Snowden ends up with Julian Assange in a bizarre love traingle with George Galloway in Equador.

How daft I am to have missed that ? So damn obvious now that you've pointed it out. ;D ;D
(Perhaps we should start writing a screenplay now ?....Or are you saying we're too late already ! ~X( ~X()
Cheers - Phil.

I just spilt my coffee :o ;D =O
Any love triangle with Geoarge Galloway in it is out the other side of bizarre. =)
And doesn't Rene from 'Allo 'allo (actor Gorden Kaye) look a dead ringer for the the Spanish football manager Vicente del Bosque?
Absolutely ! ;)
Cheers - Phil
Come to that, I always thought that Inspector Montalbano (Luca Zingaretti) and Pep Guardiola (late of Barcelona) were brothers.
And the current Italian manager (can't remember his name) and a young Kenneth Connor.
:-\....Is there a pattern emerging here....Old actors disappear.... and change careers.
Time to start a conspiracy theory !!....I think we've uncovered something chaps !! ;D ;D ;D
Cheers - Phil.
It's well known that Obama only got elected so Will Smith will have a film role. John Travolta is set to play Silvio Berlusconi, Morgan Freeman will, of course be Nelson Mandela, and Angela Merkel will be played (and this is hot off the press) by Elton John.
There will be a cameo role for Michael Sheen as Tony Blair. David Cameron will, of course, also be played by Michael Sheen (he managed to wangle a contract to play any male British Prime Minister in any Hollywood film for the next 12 years).
Rumour is it's going to be a comedy. Sort of Fresh Prince of the White House.
"Oh no! Whaddya mean I can't close Guantanamo! There will be trouble, and I moved here from Philly just to keep out of trouble!"
"Hey Joe!" (Vice President Joe Biden is being played by a miscast Client Eastwood)
"Joe, get your white ass in here and help a brother with this health thing. Why don't people want an American version of the NHS? They should love me for this!"
"Mr President. You're a god-damned fool. I'm going to stare at you until my eye twitches."
"Don't you go all stink-eye on me Joe. When I was in Philly we used to rap about having good quality health care. I remember when my Momma had the sniffles we had to rely on Mrs Leftkowitz's chicken soup."
"Mr President, I'm going to put my foot up your ass!"
"Aw shoot! You ain't no fun Joe. I'm gonna ask Michelle what she thinks," (Michelle Obama will probably be played by Helen Mirren or Meryl Streep. In an unusual casting process, the final decision will be based on three rounds of topless boxing.) "but first me and Angela Merkel are gonna rap about lions or something."
"Mr President, this is a Magnum .44, the most powerful handgun in the world ..."
"No it ain't Joe, this here teeny tiny gun is from Alhambra 3, I got it off my bro K. Say, I just had an idea. I'm gonna go on national TV, make sure everyone is watching, then kinda cool like, put on these shades, then I just everyone to look at the TV and I pull out this gizmo. Flash of red light and everyone forgets they voted for me and I can go back to Philly!"
They haven't worked out the ending yet, but it'll either be an alien invasion or ... well aliens will be involved somewhere.
Like all Will Smith film's it'll be crap.
Stop it !! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Cheers - Phil.
fsn,
Are you writing for any of the hit shows? If not, you should be. ;)
I think he must be Ray....He's going to have to be banned from posting Mondays to Fridays....I can't push putty about properly while I'm giggling.
(Keep it up fsn !!)
Cheers - Phil
Thank you for your kind remarks.
It's just all the solitude and the lack of a good brain filtering mechanism.
Trapped in front of the d...ed tennis, I was struck with an odd feeling of deja vu. I know it is an uncharitable thought, but has anyone else wondered whether the Uruk Hai in the LoTR films, in particular their leader Lurtz, we're modelled on Serena Williams? :-\ :-[ :)
Mollinary
Do you think Lurtz could play tennis?

Do you think Lurtz could play tennis?
No, but I think Serena Williams could take Vigo Mortenson! :D ;D

I'd like to see the Uruk Hai drafted in as stewards - now that would make Wimbledon worth watching. :d
