Hi
Still continuing in my search for ship fittings, does anyone have a picture of WW2 American - A22 - .50 cal AA MG with crew
(http://www.antiaircraft.org/aaimages/M2%20crew.jpg) or later version (http://www.antiaircraft.org/aaimages/50cal%20elev.jpg)
or can anyone tell me if it resembles the Flame of War type?

Hello jon/ciaphas
Exactly what I was after, thank you.
Looks like I know what I'll play with on my Zhong Shan. Probably a head swap and a naval rig collar.
Cheers

If you watch Tora Tora Tora there's a whole scene in which a crewman on one of the American battleships downs a Japanese torpedo-bomber with one of these. The weapon appears to have a strap that goes around the operator's body and allows him to lean back and elevate or rotate the gun.
Cant check but - Battleship Design and development by Norman Plomar, and Allied Escort Weapons - no idea who its by should have pictures.
