Title: Repaints
Post by: mickey26uk on 11 May 2013, 10:37:34 AM
I am returning to wargaming after several years away,  have several Pendraken armour requiring repainting and some new ones
not yet painted. Could someone please recommend suitable Humbrol paints for; Sherman M3, Panzer PzIV F, Soviet T34. Which is best, Gloss overbrushed with matt varnish or Matt paint overbrushed with Matt varnish? Grateful for any advice as I'm no Michael Angelo with a paintbrush. Cheers. Mickey26 :-\

Hello

welcome back to this world !
I'm surely not a Michael Angelo, too, but I do use Humbrol paints.
For my T34 I mainly use 102.
Then I use a matt varnish (spray). At the end, I re paint some parts with gloss black.
