So thats what happened to proper music...

I cant remember the last time I put on the radio and heard something decent thats 'modern'. Although I will admit to quite liking some of Olly Murs stuff which if it gets out will ruin my street cred... ;D

Sadly that is SO, SO true.

The very first PC I bought had a 'make your own music' CD with it.
I could produce completely soulless 'Techno' GARBAGE with it in about 5 minutes flat.......Sadly that sounded SO like a lot of the music that was being played on the radio at the time......Almost made me weep. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
Cheers - Phil

If he wants a serious hearing the gentlemen should be more economical with the expletives.

Cheers,

No, I think he puts his point across pretty well.
You should have walked the beat with a mate of mine in Peckham. he used to split a word with f****** but the locals certainly gave him a serous hearing.  :D

Concerning what he says, I think there are still the serious musicians out there. It's just that they have to slog their guts out (as they always have done) in pubs, etc.
For me those that appear on The Voice are more interested in 'making it big' rather than their music.

If I look at the people that won idols, star academy and the like here in belgium, i only notice that half of them are never heard off again after a few months anyway  ;D

Do you guys really not know who Dave Grohl is?

He was the drummer with Nirvana, then went on to found the Foo Fighters, where he sings and plays guitar, and probably drums in his spare time.

I knew I had another pic that demonstrates Dave Grohl's awesomeness...this is him, taking time to talk to his daughter at the side of the stage during the last FF European tour...
