Megamatman
Nice work Brian.
I'm loving the Xbox 360 photo plinth! 8)
Cheers, got them at just the right height to photograph.
Look good to me 8)
If you want to post smaller pics, you can import pics into Paint & then hit Image, Resize, chuck in percentages & you're sorted
They look pretty good!!
I like the red eyeballs.... scary!! I should do that with my next skelleton unit! good point!

Alternatively you can add a "width" attribute to the img tags. See below. <--- (cockney accent) Not a lotta people know that :D

M
"you're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off" ;)
That's a handy trick though 8)
wow Megaman your tip is awsome!! really cool
they look good, I would go with a real metallic paint though to bring out the swords, the non-metallic paint job while done well makes the swords blend in too much. Other than that lovely, especially the eyes.
Nice work with these skeletons, I love the red malevolent eyes too...
The black swords are a good idea, but the shields seem oddly new and shiny in comparison... Maybe did you use a glossy varnish, or is it the flash of your camera ?
Send more photos of your work if you can !
And here is a shot of my zombies, WIP at the moment, but i wanted opinions. Its also with my phone cam. :(
Here you are. These 10 are from the FU16 pack.

Let me know what you think please.
Edit to put mini id in.
Those look great 8)
Couple of thoughts though (as you asked!):
- vary the skintone a touch - I'd give them a drybrush with a variety of grey / white / green / bone - it'll 'lift' detail & subtly differentiate them from each other [we're talking *light* drybrush here BTW)
- vary the clothing a touch as well - again, a simple drybrush with a variety as above will work fine
- on the same pose ones - bend arms / knock a couple off - again, simple way of adding further variety 8)
Hope this helps!
Thanks :)
Ill get them finished off tommorow :)
Also my starter dungeon arrived today woo ;D
I like the zombies, but I'm with Nik on the flesh tones being a tad off, I'd go with something more 'rotten flesh' if you know that GW colour.
This is the type of zombie i was after doing, (http://scrapetv.com/News/News%20Pages/Politics/images-2/dawn-of-the-dead.jpg)
Im happy enough with how they turned out, ill see what i can do with the next ones. im not sure what colour rotten flesh is.
Good and creepy. I hope we'll be seeing your brush at work on some historical stuff too one of these days.
Rotten flesh:

Here's a colour chart, it's on the third column. blue-greenish flesh tint, kinda. With your reference pic, I can see what you're doing, though. I always imagine zombies to be more off-flesh in colour, but it's hard to discuss about the colour an imaginary being is supposed to have, of course.
Zombies aren't imaginary - they're real - I could show you a few at my workplace :P ;D
FierceKitty i did some bases of 10mm ww2 brits sometime last summer i think, when i was originaly planning to get into BCK, other things took over though. Here are some pics of those http://s94.photobucket.com/albums/l116/count_zero99uk/10mm/
I need to find out what sand people use when basing 10mm as the stuff i have looks way to big next to them.
You need some of this: http://www.pendraken.co.uk/Bases-Glue-Sands-c25/Modelling-Sands-sc203/ (http://www.pendraken.co.uk/Bases-Glue-Sands-c25/Modelling-Sands-sc203/)
Hehe, shameless plug!
Is it super fine though
The 'fine' one is... ;)
Thanks Nik.
