How many more posts do I have to make until I'm promoted?
I said, how many more posts do I have to make until I'm promoted?
Will it be many more posts until I'm promoted?
Is it 50?
or is it more than 50?
I said, how many more posts until I get promotion?
The question has been asked before.

The approved way is still massive amounts of postings in the 'Top Totty' thread, ofcourse. But dropping hints here and there about Meso-Americans is rumoured to help as well.
Repeating the same post again and again does not work, however, and may cause the moderators to impose disciplinary measures. With your earlier posts you seemed to be on the right track. So try some constructive posting, and you'll get there pretty quick.
Either that or ask a question about nineteen century flags...

Actually, you need to ask a lot of questions about nineteenth century flags! ;) :D ;D

Nah just ask why Nik is slacking on bringing us fresh Totty, always works :D
I was wondering if there were any cheats? Like <left><Left><Left><right> gets you accredited with 50 posts?
Pst fsn - post once more! ;)
I'm sure none of us would cheat the system, gentlemen. Remember old Ponsoby Biscuit-Schmetterling? We caught him trying to get an extra rank by allowing his spon-runner to post in his name. We went into the bounder's quarters, looked him squarely in the eye, and left a loaded revolver on the dresser....
..... and the b****r shot us! :o
=O =O =O =O =O
I did it! I'm no longer a cadet!!
Now I can find some cadets and pick on them ... or isn't that the point?
No, the point is to strive for higher and higher rank until you finally reach a point at which the government can blame you for the latest military disaster and retire you without paying you a pension.
I think that's how it works. :(
The point is to accumulate the authority to demand Aztecs (for instance) and then complain in the mess that nobody pays any attention.
You know like moaning Kitty, and Aztecs don't 'ave tracks. MORE TANKS
ianS
Tanks to hold the blood after sacrifices? Useful in the baggage, but not top priority, surely?
Sorry, sweetie, I forgot that I'm not allowed to call you Shirley in front of the men.

Is there a particular tank you're actually after?! We're knocking out more vehicles all the time, so we're kinda covering your request... :-\
Ian will never be satisfied Leon ;).

Yeah, he's a sort of armour nyphomaniac. :D
I shouldn't laugh at that, but I may snigger a bit... a lot... oh heck =O
;D :D ;D
I should be promoted to Brevet Major in this forum ... Just ask Nik.

I'd happily promote you to whatever rank you liked as long as I don't have to pay you ;) :D
Can I be ... 'Major Event' ... ?
Well I have proof of Major Burke - so you COULD have that if you want :D
(Cpt later Maj Patrick Burke RTC - attached LUOTC form 1970-78?)

I was intending to make my 3,000th post....along with my new rank something a little more memorable....Like posting a pic of the unzombified civilians as a Wip....or maybe a pic of the 'complete' Gaul infantry group.
Instead I've been boggering about all day, enjoying myself, and having too much to drink in celebration of the fact that I'm now an official BT Pensioner.
Buns, cakes and intoxicating beverages in the Forum bar this evening to celebrate this momentous dual event.
I'm 260 today....and whatever rank it is. <:-P <:-P <:-P
(Heck I feel old.....The other 'decades' didn't bother me at all....So why does this one ? ;))
Cheers All - Phil.
Nice one Techno,
Wondered how long it would be before you caught me up! ;)
We Major Generals have to stick together Will. ;)
We'll never catch the 2(?) higher ranks though.!!
Always going to have to call Nik and Leon "Sir", I reckon. ;D ;D ;D
Cheers - Phil.
Nik's been slacking, we cxan make up ground... erm... maybe! ;D

This is true - three weeks offline at home and then work-enforced restrictions on playtime have seriously conspired against my online
drivelling posting :)
You were not missed Nik

Oddly enough, Phil, the only decade that ever bothered me was 30 - I felt I was no longer a young man. As for the others - do you actually physically feel any different from how you did yesterday? If the answer is "no" then forget about it. :) :) :)
Happy Birthday Phil, Its how old you feel not what the numbers say. - Me I am 18 inside, my body says I am a lot older than that but its lying. :D
Ray....
I think it's the fact that over the last decade it feels like bits of me have broken down rather more noticeably than before. ;D ;D
Orcs....
In my mind I'm still in my early twenties.....But my body laughs evilly, and dares me to push it just that bit too far !! ;D ;D
Cheers - Phil.
Ohh, hippy bathday Techno!

I had that as well, an odd feeling the night before my 30th birthday.
You know what YOU can do.....Kiddie. :P.....I mean, Boss. :)
