\I've already found any amount of helpful information on this forum as a guest and wanted to join in the discussions. I have two 10mm armies from Pendraken: Austrians and Italians from 1866 and Anglo-Egyptians and Mahdists from 1883-5. They are cracking figures and I look forward to expanding the collection.

Hi Burnaby. You are probably the only forum member to possess an 1866 Italian army. Got any pics? :)
Greetings. I'm new here myself, but everyone seems to be friendly and knowledgeable ... and a bit barmy.

I walked the Custoza Battlefield 10 days ago and it is pretty much unspoiled in the centre and west, although the eastern part south of Sommacompana is completely built over. The Wargaming in History Project aims to do Custoza eventually (ie is 2015 if we are spared) but not until we have done Koniggratz. Say if you are interested.

Thanks, everyone for the welcomes! I'll try to put up some shots of the 1866 Italians soon----be warned: my painting is pretty poor.
