Title: ECW Pikes
Post by: whiteoak on 07 April 2013, 07:39:10 AM
I'm looking to put in a modest ECW  pre-order for Salute

I much prefer Pikemen to have separate wire pikes rather than the over heavy cast pikes as with the current ECW pikemen.

How easy is it to cut off the the pike and drill out the hand to put in a wire pike?

The alternative is to use LOA pikemen (which don't have cast in pikes) however I think there uniform is a little too florid for ECW.

Comments please

Clipping the pikes off the standing pose is quite easy, and then the hand is nicely out to the side for drilling a fresh hole.  The walking pose may cause a bit more problems though, with the pike held closer to the body?  It's a lot of time required either way.
