With limited internet access, I'm really struggling to find pics of Krupp 6pdrs as used by Chile in the South American Pacific War...everything else in the army is painted & I just need to do these...anyone got an idea of colour of barrel & furniture etc?
Sorry Nik - search produced zero results. Blind guess but as Chile seems to follow German tradition for its army - same colour as German ones of the period?

Could this be of any use?

Will go and do some more searches and get back if I find anything conclusive.

Thanks both - Ry, I can't even grab that pic..! What colours can you see?!
Looks a sort of light buff/beige colour for the woodwork, with the metalwork being, well, metallic.

Muchas gracias, Mollinary...silver or bronze metallicy?
(You knew that was coming, right?!)
Here's the pic Nik, if you still can't see it I'll second Mollinary's description of buff/weathered beige with something like gunmetal black on the wheel rims etc..

Ryan is spot on with the gunmetal - sort of- thingy - like colour, for both the barrel and the various bits on the carriage.

Thanks guys - really appreciated; I'll paint from your description...and repaint if it looks wrong once I get to see the pics!
Sent it to your email, maybe you can see it there!
Excellent - thanks Peter, that's great...all done now - varnish in the morning...no idea when I'll be able to post pics though...grr...
For gods sake laddie, use the old ways, get those pigeons out and start printing.....
