Hi, I'm contemplating getting Romanians for BKC but don't know a great deal about them in WW2. Does anyone have any pictures of uniforms and tanks/vehicles in Romanian colour schemes? and could people recommend some light reading on Romanians in WW2? many thanks. From Bit.
Hi

That's great many thanks.
from bitbone.
I paint romanians too.
The links are very good, and there is also an Osprey about the Romanian Army. If you mix the different references from the Pendraken range, you get a great amount of options for the army.
I've had great fun with my Romanians using BKC. I have organised mine around late 42 / early 43 when they were smashed by the Russians during operation Uranus. PzIIIn and PzIVF2 provide reasonable armour. Poor command values are a problem but the Ruskies also have poor values so it tends to even out.
Good luck
Rob
