Title: Hello
Post by: atunley on 22 March 2013, 04:13:35 PM
Hello everyone.
My name's Andy and my interest is primarily in the fantasy ranges.
After many years of 28mm I am now starting to reproduce my armies in 10mm (If I carry on in 28mm I will need to extend my house).
Enjoying working with metal again.
Cheers!

Hi Andy,

I'm new here too but as you're on the same track as me (dropping 28's for 10's just recently), I reckon we can make the pilgrimage to Pendraken together.

Cheers

Ry

P.s YOU MUST BUY FROM THE AWI RANGE, THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE, once you have done your painstaking uniform research, you must pass it on to me (again, non-negotiable), you must also pester Leon and the Pendraken team to add to the AWI range so that my own conversion is made more meaningful. :D

But if your looking for GREAT figures, take a trip to Clib's latest sculpts of cavalry for the War of the League of Augsburg.  I defy anyone to resist!

Hi Andy,

Welcome to the asylum.

I found divorcing my ex gave me loads more space and time - expensive but best money I ever spent :d

Hi and welcome, Andy. The only problem with going to 10mm figures is you tend to wind up with ten times as many.  :D

Because you tend to wind up with the same volume of figures as with 28mm.  :D

Welcome. Your problem and appraoch seems to quite common.

Do you think we could get a scheme going whereby we send old 25mm figs to Pendraken and they send us new 10mm ones for a nominal price?  :d

I always used to melt down people's unwanted figures to cast my own. Waste not, want not.  ;)
