As some of you may remember, I commissioned Techno (Phil) to sculpt 1866 Austrian Artillery team drivers to fill a hole in the range. He has now come back with the initial sculpts and I am posting the picture so that if anyone has any suggestions, queries, improvements etc we can address them now. These are provisional figures that can be tweaked as necessary.

I think there's a bit missing from your image link?
I've got nothing here either! :(
Nothing here either!

Well, I can see exactly what they look like....
Cos they're sitting in front of me. :P
If you have a problem getting them posted Ray, shout, & I'll upload them. ;)
Cheers - Phil.

When I previewed the post before uploading it the picture was there. Now it isn't. So, what have I done?
In fact, when I click on this thread on the forum it's there. Which would suggest that it's being picked up from my computer but isn't on the forum server. ~X(
I'm not sure what's happened then. I've taken the address from your post and put it into the address bar on my machine, and nothing is coming up. For an image though, there should be a .jpg / .bmp / etc on the end of the address?
The link posted is to mail.google.com i.e. a gmail account - this isn't going to be any good to view an image from another website.
You either need to host the image somewhere else photo bucket/picassa/dropbox etc or send it to Leon by email and he can host it for you.

As if I haven't got enough to do....Like remembering what my 'name' is....and my password..On photobucket....
THEN having to go back and look up Meirion's instructions to see how to shrink the piccy..... ;)
But it's so nice to see I've got company in being a computer numpty. :) ;)
Cheers - Phil.
Thanks for that, Phil. As I was saying..... any suggestions, improvements etc - now's the time to speak up. :)
OK, the silence has been deafening so far.
In case you were wondering I should point out that the the officer's shako is incorrect - the chin-strap looped up around the front shouldn't be there and will be deleted. Otherwise, if no-one has any comments we will proceed.
Oh I say! This is looking promising, especially after the appearance of the French Imperial Guard (1870) teams. Bring 'em on Leon!
DP, when did the Guard teams arrive? I thought we still waited with bated breath?

I've got those on the side now ready for production moulding, so hopefully they'll get shoehorned into the April releases in time for Salute!

Any ideas when the Austrians will be hitting the shelves? Or the new 4pdr, or even the re-modelled rockets? They would make a great package to celebrate my retirement - which comes tomorrow by the way! :O) :O) <:-P :-bd

The 4pdr and rocket info hasn't been passed on to the designer yet, so I'd imagine they're quite a way off yet... :(
The limber chaps will be the only addition in the near future, once we get those moulded up.
Cheers,
Leon
Tip from a recent retiree Mollinary, paint something else while you're waiting - it's amazing how much you can get done.
Austrian riders have been moulded, and I've got them almost ready for production moulding, so they shouldn't be too far away.

Oh good as 1866 looks like it could be the next big project after WWI Austrians.
Ah, just when I go on holiday. Ah, well. :(
