Hi there,
just a post to introduce myself.
I'm Italian, male (no wonders, right?... I mean, who is really expecting to meet girls here... :D) painter, modeller and wargamer since... since I can remember...
Actually, I've a lot of projects on my workbench as I paint (and convert, model, modify, make dios etc etc) a lot of stuff in several scales, my favourites used to be 15mm WWII, 20mm Naps, 28 mm WWII, 1/1200 napoleonic ships, 1/2400 WWI & WWII ships, and 1/600 ironclads... I'm a good painter with too much interest in too many periods... :'( :'(
Therefore, not being yet fully covered with lead and resin pieces, I was wandering around Salute 2012 and I got in Pendraken stuffs...
Wow, never thought such a quality in this small scale. so I grabbed a couple of 19th century army packs... now I'm in. let's go with it ;)

I wish we could get a few women involved. It might clean up the baseline misogyny of the humour pages, and women play interesting tactics at related games (my wife gives me a hell of a fight at chess); they aren't driven by testosterone, which makes for a different play style. And often better interpersonal dynamics.
And think how happy it would make Nik.
