Here's our June releases, including the start of the WW2 Japanese and a bunch of early BEF British. We've got additions to the Boer range, some 1859 French and there's even a couple of Fantasy additions, with some new Troll centaurs!
Let us know your thoughts!

- requested by 'YORSTONS', 'Uesugi Kenshin', 'zaapark', and anyone else I've missed!
More troll poses were a request on TMP ages ago, so Dave's done the centaurs, I've done the 'Giant Bone' conversions!
That's a nice lot of goodies 8)
The pics are great too - nicely done.
Dave and Leon, nice batch of new releases! Keep up the great work. You know, you are making me work keeping the catalog up to date :)
Sooo, when will we see the Japanese tanks, nudge, nudge, wink, wink ;D
Disturbing lack of Aztecs.

The tanks are being done at the moment, hopefully we'll be picking something up at the Durham show in a fortnight.
Oh well, just when I thought I had enough to paint, I suppose the Guard's assault at Magenta will have to go on my list of things to do!!
Chad
Great, glad to see some fantasy, and also very surprise to see Sci fi, thanks for keep the range alive!!
There are no pics of them, but I am far far away to criticize; so happy. Just thinking about the order I am gonna do in July.
WWII are also impresive, but is not my period in this moment (anyway is fair to congratulate the sculptor)
cheers

The Fantasy and Sci-Fi are just about to go into a production mould, so I haven't got one to paint/photograph at the moment. I'll have them up as soon as I can.
Yay! some of those BEF will go well for the VBCW stuff.
Not my thing but Japs look good.
Now about those loverly Aztecs ;)

Just a quick note, this one should be 5 to a pack, not 10. I've changed it on the website.
oooh did someone say Aztecs!! Yes, Yes, please do, but then you MUST do Incas as well, and Dog People and Conquistadors and . . . DAVE JUST TO THE ENTIRE HISTORICAL EVIDENCE!!! Then, I should have enough to paint :D
Oh wait, I forgot about all the fantasy universes and all the Sci/Fi universes, Leon, get that whip a cracking we need more I say just more :P
Anywhoo, great job Pendraken for everything that you do turn out and Aztecs would be pretty cool at 10mm, I am gonna hate painting all those feathers and skins :o

Must ... focus ... on .. Seven ... Years ... War
No...distractions...allowed... >:(
Japs look great, are there more than one pose per pack? ;D

Just the one pose, we've split them up into the individual poses for ease of ordering.
I hate to be the one that bites the hand that feeds me quality miniatures here, but.... What pray tell, is the noticeable difference between WW1 British, WW2 BEF and the current range of WW2 British riflemen? It seems to me that the current range of 'late war' WW2 British riflemen - without helmet nets - could be used for WW2 BEF?
If it is just a case of Pendraken being a British company and making whatever the hell suits their sense of patriotism, that is fine, I salute you. However, what about all that other stuff in the request list that we keep harping on about?
Am I being unreasonable? Feel free to tell me to mind my own business and stop drinking too much coffee.
Greetings

Without having seen pictures of said miniatures the usual differences would be:
(a) WWI infantry wearing tunics as opposed to battledress and puttees as opposed to gaiters, and '08 as opposed to '37 equipment. Not very similar really to WW2.
(b) WW2 BEF infantry could have hessian covers on the helmet (not seen later) and, more importantly would have a chest respirator case.
(c) WW2 late war infantry more likely to have netting/scrim etc on helmets and have No.4 rather than SMLE Mk III rifles
Note that one would expect Bren gunners as well (though if prone the respirator will be less evident) and Thompson SMGs with drum magazines.
Pendraken are doing early war so it makes sense to do some early war British riflemen. I also assume that Pendraken believe that they'll sell :-). I'd note that at least one other 10mm manufacturer sells BEF as well as later war infantry as do most/many 15mm manufacturers. In some ways you could say that using late war British for early war is like using US infantry for USMC.
Prioritisation is always difficult. Bear in mind that the WW2 range is also seeing Jaoanese and (shortly) USMC being released.
Regards
Edward
Thanks for listing the differences Edward.
The Early British were requested by many customers over the years and were started by the designer long before we launched the Forum. The process from request to release can take months, and we are working through some of people's requests at the moment. Don't forget that we can't possibly produce every request that we get in, we have to look at the most popular and work them around what we've already got going on, so something like the Japs/USMC fitted in nicely.
It might not look like it from some people's perspective, but we are taking a huge amount of this feedback on board, and really starting to schedule our releases around what you want. It'll take a while for this to become more obvious, because we've got a lot of projects (League of Augsburg, Shleswig Holstein, SCW, etc.) that need to be finished before we have time to really concentrate on making a dent in the requests. But we are doing our best to fit some things in as we go along.
They are all nice - although not my bag baby ( yet!!!!- coz you know what were like) but I am sooo happy you guys are knocking out so many codes each month - I simply love you all :-* :-* :-* :-*

Thanks!
I tell you what, if people are nice to me, I might put up some pictures of the first set of masters we'll get at the end of the month...
I really like it that you're putting out lots of new fantasy figures. Could you put some pictures up though, along with something to show their size? Your fantasy figures vary a lot in both style and size. I really like a lot of them - others i'm not so keen on the style of, or they're more 15mm than 10mm scale.
I'll try and get some pics up as soon as possible, we've hit a couple of shows again so everything kinda slows down for those!

I think Jenna has a big batch of photos ready that we'll be uploading very soon.
I take it this will mean we'll be getting the Aztecs in July?

It's OK, mankind will have been wiped out by then by a giant meteor, and the hedgehogs, who were hibernating underground at the time, will have taken over...
:o
And they will want to do 10mm Aztecs.
I suppose Spiny Norman will have to be a 28mm, if not 54?
They're quite low slung, so it'll still be 10mm to the eye. :P
