I will make up a stowage kit if enough people say they want it I will make for leon and dave as a 21st Birthday present but only if 30 different forum members say they want a vehicle stowage pack(generic)
Martin
I would definitely like to get this! A set of packs, tarpaulins and other bits of equipment to spice up vehicles. Could be useful for several periods, as well. Who's with me?!
Yes please.
Rolled tarps, rolled cam nets, lots of kit bags. Large and small ammo boxes. Oil drums and jerry cans.
A spot of super glue and you have a vehicle that is different.
:)
count me in all of the above
Already said it on the other thread, but count me in for stowage! So many uses!
Cheers,
Kev

Please count me in as well , more stowage the better , give vehicles that well used look.
Regards
Would there be any chance of making some generic stowage/baggage so we could use it in the back of the carts and maybe dungeon bric a brac as well?

Gets my vote
Yes me too, it sounds a good addition to vehicles for modern survivor transport for zombie games too, when the new zombie range comes out!
Yep, I'll add my vote.
Yes! :)

Bigger yes! :D
Oh and if possible arrow sheaf's separate if possible, great stowage but would be great for markers and tokens in games as well
Just a reminder:

OK, so far we have: OldenBUA, Rob, Sean67, Squirrel, Nikharwood, mad lemmy, fred 12df, toolsey, Fenton, uzero, Sandinista, i_am_win, Hertsblue, O Dinas Powys, Sunray and ianrs54. So we are halfway there already! 8)
I know that there are other people out there who would like this. Now's the time to be heard!
Of course, what will be in this pack is up to Martin. But I suppose that some items would be generic enough to be useful for several periods, from medieval and fantasy to modern and sci-fi/post-apocalyptic zombie!!!
I used the Pendraken vehicule stowage refrences for WWII but I think that pieces of various tracks (Pz III, Pz IV, Panther and Tigre, Scherman, ...) would be very useful for the US and German tanks. The more WWII moved forward, the more tanks protected themselves against the antitank weapons, with all which was available, among which tracks.
BH62
Only 14 more I think
Ok I like the idea of a multi use pack the track one may have to be a seperate pack as I would have to have a look at all the tanks involved to get the track to match
seperate arrow sheafs no problems jerry cans and 50 gallon drums various boxes, blanket rolls, back packs even helmets( american, british and german)
How does this sound anything else? also I don,t see dave and leon on the list that would be another 2 votes
Regards
Martin
Ok I am going to nip off and create another 16 persona's ,,,back in a bit
Count me in too.
I'd buy vehicle stowage - is that 14 or 15 to go (excluding Dave and Leon)?

12 to go now, I think, excluding Dave and Leon. :-bd
@Martin: Sounds good to me so far. Another point, maybe nothing too small/fiddly? Could be difficult to cast and/or fit on a vehicle otherwise?
Spare tracks (and roadwheels?) would be nice, but those are not very generic, so maybe better suited for another pack. So much to wish for. 8-> =P~
Count me in.
Spare track links would be good.
Will second sheafs of arrows
I'll take some stowage.

Anything you decide will be great. You probably need to make any packs period specific i.e. jerry-cans and ammo boxes are not much use to medieval or ancient armies and arrow sheafs likewise for 20th century. As a pilot to test the market a pack with the items from your pinky would do as start, I would buy that.
Cheers, Rob :)

Hi Fenton (or is that Fentomas, Fentastic or Ton-of-the-Fens?) any luck with that? Because sadly it seems the only way forward, right now. :'(
What's the count so far?
Still 10 to go, I think.
I'm in for a fair few, cheers
Count me in,like the idea of period or themed packs.
HI All
With the smaller fiddly items eg: Arrow quivers helmets small road wheels I would make them attached to something bigger eg: quiver on top of a pack but can be removed with a model knife same as Helmets on top of a box so you could remove it turn the box over to use it and put the helmet on the side of a turret?
How does that sound
Martin
Sounds highly ingenious, Martin. Anything that has multiple uses has to be a bonus. :-bd
Seems to me that would work very well. Both from a sculpting and casting point of view, it simplifies things a lot. And multiple uses would indeed be great. 8)
Greetings
I'd certainly go for WW2/modern and for horse and musket.
Edward

To this, we can now add BH62, Albie Beach, fulcrum, Just a few Orcs, Derek H, Dannyboy, Jc, kustenjaeger and slinky! For a grand total of 25 votes, and that's excluding Leon, Dave and mart678 himself! So I hope/believe that this project will have a GO!!!
But, just in case, if you feel the need for stuff to spice up your vehicles, this is the place where you can let your voice be heard!

Can we add jerry cans to the stowage items?, ta muchly in advance.
Jerry cans are already planned, I think.

Mart, have you done anything on that front ?
Any fuel drum ?
Will we be getting any vehicle stowage? :-\
Or is this one a dead-duck? :-t X_X
I still hope to see some stowage, but it's up to Leon and Dave.
@FSN, do you know how good a Centurion will look with some packs, tarpaulins and other kit stowed on it?
That should get the ball rolling again...
:D
Count me in.

Count me too. Oil drumms, ammo crates, various bags are very usefull additions. Ah! Wheels and tires too, please.
I'm sure there's enough interest to get this one started, I'll pop it down on the list and have a chat with Mart next time we speak.

We all need stowage to be put on our vehicles. I think it's really an expected item. I vote !
BH62
count me in love stowage Rougue
If you want, I'm doing some barrel for personal use.

Very good idea - stowage is always good. Also some separate vehicle mg's (modern and ww2) would go down well!
Very sensible, Rick. Very sensible.

Rick's already been warned about sensible posts! #-o
I vote we institute a "3 strikes and your out" policy to prevent excess sensibility. :O)
Or in some cases three out and we strike?
Count me in for Jerry cans, barrels, stowage, track segments etc.
What was the upshot of all this agitation, Leon? Is the order in?

I'll check with Martin, but I think he'd started on some odds and ends a while back?
:-\
I've made an oil drum, I may send it to Leon.
Given the rather undetailed glacis of some of the revamped Shermans...could it be that some stowage might be on it's way? Track sections, wheels, tarps, cans, packs? Either loose items or in a variety of tailored collections...hopefully with thin joins so that bits may be removed/added? Pretty please? ;)
Even collections of tree trunk ala 'Fury'' lol.
